So to summarize Stroman's thoughts:

- he's upset that the team hasn't offered him a long-term contract, even though he's two years from FA, just missed half the season with shoulder and blister issues, and pitched to a 5.5 ERA when he was on the mound

- he seems to think that he provides value by 'embodying the city of Toronto' in ways that other players just can't do

- he's concerned about the lack of vetrin presents on a team that's finally getting younger after consecutive years of crusty veterans losing 85+ games

- he thinks replacement-level player and noted ******** Carlos Gomez would be a solid addition

Stroman needs to be a lot less eager to share his thoughts.

Pretty sure they have shitbag Clayton Richard for part of this reason.

Shoemaker isnt young, either.

Richard, Shoemaker, Morales, Pillar, Stro, Sanchez, Tepera, Galvis, Smoak, Travis, Grichuk, and Phelps are all multi-year vets at or approaching 30 years old. All of them will be on the team. Stro is a blowhard.

Team has one youngster in the rotation out of 5. That is all.

Our new SS, existing DH, CF, 1B, RF are all veteran players.

the team is not that young....YET

And did Vladdy eat the pitching mound? WTF!

I have never agreed with you more. We are now one in the same. Go hang your head in shame or rejoice you have seen the light. Regardless, we are now brothers on BJMB😜

Trade Stroman asap

I said that long time ago.

This reminds me of Bautista in ST saying be wants $200 million or $150, whatever it was... Now two years removed is he even still in baseball??

Posted

Stroman took one look at how Bautista's demands were handled and he decided it was a good move to double down on that. Next you'll know he'll be asking for a $200M contract to make up for all the value he provided three seasons ago.

Just when I was starting to reconsider my annoyance with Stroman, he sets me back on the right track.

To be fair, I think he meant good players, like Carlos Gomez.

That's the look of a big man who is proud/relieved after a big dump. Would not want to go into that room any time soon.

Peak exit velocity on and off the field.

Your profile pic from afar really helps with that image too. On close examination it looks like some kind of animated candy house. From afar...a nuclear explosion.

Also, someone with much more internet talent than me should get these two memes in while they're fresh:

1. The Stewie Griffin follows fatass with a tuba meme.

2. The AA "OMG look at the size of his ass, why is he shaped like the overweight older female secretary at my office" walking away meme.

If Stroman would sign a reasonable extension I’d be happy with that. But I suspect he’d be after an ace level deal.

I wonder how stroman would react to some rando who knew nothing about how to pitch telling him he sucked at pitching. Edited by Captain Adama

He wouldn't get more money than the Severino or Nola, I'd be happy with an extension around that ballpark, he has to step up this year, though. He will not get Ace type money, he'd be foolish to think he's worth that much.

4 and 9 with a 5.54 ERA in 2018... he does suck at pitching.

Amongst Stroman liked tweets today. Half a year and he's gone for sure.
