Morales up to a 115 wRC+ after that dinger.

Edwin at 108.

Sportsnet.ca comments in shambles.

OPS at .804 now also. He really snuck up on everybody that's for sure.

That was a ball that Martin really has to charge instead of laying back. Overall he's looked viable at 3rd though, at least in terms of part time duty.

Yeah he's passable at third, especially when his versatility is going to be needed next year. Diaz has looked really good at third.

The Orioles are so sad.

No argument there, God this team is so bad! I can't count the # of times I've done face palms this year. Oh well, even if we lose at least we get a higher draft pick. Not that I really trust their farm system to develop properly. Oh well, just have hope, that's all you can have.

blindly having hope is about as stupid as being an Orioles fan...

Teo is like pre-Cito Bautista

ridiculously prodigious power, but he's on record saying he's trying to go the other way most of the time.

I am pretty sure he needs to talk with Joey Bats for 5 minutes about the merit of a dead pull approach when you have power like that

People who comment on Sportsnet or Facebook have no idea what wRC+ is

They see Edwin's 81 RBI compared to Morales 48 and the conversation is over.

Also I still miss Edwin. But Morales has been quite good since June.

I don't think I could be a fan of a team if I didn't have any faith in the people running the team. That would just be insane. Hometown or not punishing myself doesn't seem like a healthy and productive way to spend my free time.

I blame Buck & Tabby for this. Honestly. It should be part of their job to educate the fans.

I can. He's a moron.

He claims he does not want to uproot his family. I believe he also has a lot of commitments to the community in the Baltimore area as well. But playing for a contending team for a month and half sounds like a lot of fun if I'm a Baseball player. They even moved him to RF in hopes they could push him out as well.

If they replaced Tabler with a more saber friendly former player to go along with the combo of Buck Martinez and Dan Shulman I would never complain about the broadcast team again. Tabler has been saying the same things every game for over 20 years. I get it hes a great dude. Bring him out to alumni events instead stop putting him on television please.

I don't know for sure what's happening, but our GM seems to have more control now (he had lost a lot of power after trying to get the Toronto job). Trades are much quicker and not being vetoed (e.g. Britton before the injury, and Brach back when he sat at 95MPH rather than 92MPH, which would a yielded a much greater return. This really would have sped up the rebuilding). Peter Angelos has taken a step back and his sons seems to be taking over ownership. They are going to be more involved in the International market (better late then never), something that P. Angelos would never allow. They are cutting cost which figures, but there's also a chance the O's will be sold. So we'll see what happens.

Anyways, good luck to you guys. I've always thought of the Blue Jays as brothers in a sense, in the wake of the 2 Goliath's in our division. If it's not us I hope it's the Jays than can at least give them a run for their money and maybe even steal a spot from them sometime in the coming years.

Best Wishes!

I think once teams see pannone two or three times they'll have no problem hitting him. His fastball tops out at only 89 mph

So does Rich Hill's. It's actually pretty apparent that Pannone's fastball is easily his best pitch. Hitters are fooled by it, I think it's similar to Estrada's fastball where deception combined with a high spin rate makes it a much better pitch than the velocity would suggest. With that said he's probably only a #5 starter at best, or a potentially effective LOOGY, he seemed to be able to get whiffs out of the bullpen.

I'll never consider Orioles fans as our brothers. Red Sox + Yankees ≥>>>>>>>>> Orioles.

If only there was more to pitching then velocity..... You may end up being right but his FB velocity won't be why.
