BORED, which is in year 3 right now. It's a 20-team league with 20 MLB keepers and 15-man farms. League rules are in the first post of the BORED thread. The team you're taking over is going to miss the playoffs this year, but has some very good MiLB assets.

 

I know Jonn has expressed interest in joining a league, but would prefer to wait for an offseason opening, should there be any.

It really is and I'm strongly considering it. I'm really lazer focused in on the leagues I'm in now and winning. I would rather jump into a league this deep in the off-season when those leagues are finished for the year. And I would probably leave all but 1 of those and jump in here. But as others mentioned the opening may not be available so its tough.

I'll reiterate here what I told Jonn via PM for anyone else who might be interested: this team is not going to make the playoffs, and there are less than four weeks left in the regular season. Aside from setting lineups for a month to maintain competitive balance, there is ample time to settle in and learn the ropes before making your moves in the offseason.

 

Of course, for someone who wants to jump right in, the trade deadline is this Sunday, so there would be time to make some moves.

Also, I don't really remember seeing you post before. That doesn't mean I wouldn't be amenable to having you, but I don't want the shame of allowing a dogg account into BORED.

 

Can anyone reputable vouch?

Dogg is a messed up dude that has been banned multiple times over more than a decade for trolling and general idiocy. Keeps coming back under new name.

At one point he had something like 20 different active personas having conversations with each other.
