Wanted to see Drury.. No desire to watch a team with Morales, Granderson, Martin, to an extent Solarte and basically guys who will not be in our long term future...

They might be (better be) showcasing Solarte for a trade. Otherwise yeah I would just play Drury the rest of the way.

No reason to have him here on past July 31st. I will take a lottery ticket for him. But they might exercise his 5.5m option and trade him next year before it jumps up to 8.5 million. I would rather they just deal him now though.

Drury, Gurriel, Diaz, Travis, and eventually JD. Way too many infielders. Once they move Grandy an OF spot will open up, and Pillar's out for a while, so maybe they will play Drury there, but I'd rather put Pompey, DSJ, or McKinney there. At least see what they have.

Solarte should def be traded. Don't care what the return is. An Ed Olivares equivalent works for me. Nothing of value lost.

That's a piss poor approach by Solarte. Guy with 0 command so far tonight and you swing at the first one that isnt even good.

Short night for the White Sox manager and pitching coach.

Both tossed without recordng an out.

That was pretty bad, I don't blame them.

I don't either. Was a pretty borderline swing that culd easily have been called strike 3, but ... still that's an early hill to die on with none out in the 1st
