Facing Lopez tonight should be easy. Eliminate the outer half since he can't throw his slider at all anywhere near the plate.

Say what you want about Stroman, but his defense as a pitcher is top shelf.

 

He is an incredible athlete, genuinely among the best that I've ever seen from a pitcher.

Man, if Gurriel can actually turn into a legit hitter, that would be huge. His defensive ability (when refined a bit) could make him a Zobrist clone minus the switch hitting.

I get that it is a dead ball but why did the runner get to advance?

 

They have to be calling it as umpire interference, and awarding the runner the base they would have attained without it. It's a terrible call though imo.

 

CB really needs to retire. He's awful.
