jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Jays desperately need a sweep in this series! And by Jays i mean JFL
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Wanted to see Drury.. No desire to watch a team with Morales, Granderson, Martin, to an extent Solarte and basically guys who will not be in our long term future...

They might be (better be) showcasing Solarte for a trade. Otherwise yeah I would just play Drury the rest of the way.

No reason to have him here on past July 31st. I will take a lottery ticket for him. But they might exercise his 5.5m option and trade him next year before it jumps up to 8.5 million. I would rather they just deal him now though.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2018 Author Posted July 27, 2018 They don't even start Drury lol. He's injured. DTD
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 He's injured. Hes on the active roster and on the bench...
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2018 Author Posted July 27, 2018 Hes on the active roster and on the bench... Day to day... has a bruised hand, was HBP Tuesday.

Way too many infielders. Once they move Grandy an OF spot will open up, and Pillar's out for a while, so maybe they will play Drury there, but I'd rather put Pompey, DSJ, or McKinney there. At least see what they have. Solarte should def be traded. Don't care what the return is. An Ed Olivares equivalent works for me. Nothing of value lost.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 Gurriel hammered that, holy s***!
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Back to back to lead off the game doesn't suck.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Short night for the White Sox manager and pitching coach. Both tossed without recordng an out.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 Inning should be over, lol @ these umps.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 That's a piss poor approach by Solarte. Guy with 0 command so far tonight and you swing at the first one that isnt even good.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 Short night for the White Sox manager and pitching coach. Both tossed without recordng an out. That was pretty bad, I don't blame them.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 AwfuL. Was never a strike Teoscar. Gotta let that s*** go
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 That was pretty bad, I don't blame them. I don't either. Was a pretty borderline swing that culd easily have been called strike 3, but ... still that's an early hill to die on with none out in the 1st
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Sox are taking all the way on the first pitch so far just lay it in there
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 3 up 3 down on weak grounders... not bad
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 I don't either. Was a pretty borderline swing that culd easily have been called strike 3, but ... still that's an early hill to die on with none out in the 1st Probably thirsty...
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Grichuk can really jack them when he squares the bat up.
