Thaddeus Malice Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 What on earth did Cavan Biggio do in the winter. He's got a a .407 ISO, good for 2nd in all of baseball. He's not even striking out an unreasonable amount.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Should they move Biggio up to AAA? What is next? Call him up?
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Should they move Biggio up to AAA? What is next? Call him up? Let him continue his success and play in the Eastern League ASG. If he's still raking at that point, give him a shot in Buffalo. If he continues to play well there, he would be in line for a shot at the bigs in 2019.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 We have some players in Lansing due for some promotions especially Kevin Smith.
Ray Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 We have some players in Lansing due for some promotions especially Kevin Smith. Warmoth is blocking him at SS in High-A. Maybe give Smith some playing time at 3rd?
AledmysDiaz Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Promote Biggio to Buffalo, and Kevin Smith to New Hampshire.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Author Posted May 16, 2018 Promote Biggio to Buffalo, and Kevin Smith to New Hampshire. Or have Warmoth and Smith play SS/2b at Dunedin. No need to skip over a level for Smith
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
