Aaron Sanchez, RHP...

 

Sanchez has been pretty inconsistent so far this season after missing almost all of last year with blister issues. He's allowed at least four runs in each of his past two starts and could not make it out of the fourth inning in his last outing.

Coming off his best start of the season, Sale takes the ball in the opener. Sale has a history of dominance at Rogers Centre, going 5-1 with a 1.44 ERA in seven starts. On Sunday vs. Texas, he put on a clinic, striking out 12 in seven innings.

So what's up with Martin sitting?? It is a night game after a night game. There was day off on Monday. Maile caught the other day. Is there some injury or something?

 

We have a very tough lefty, you would think a veteran Right handed bat.. Maile could catch the day game tomorrow.

May I just say on another note.. I like that the Raptors fired Casey. Accountability!!! Now they need to start making player changes also.. I hope the Blue Jays follow the lead...

It better, he's throw it 18 times out of 20 pitches so far.

Attacking a good lineup exclusively with a fastball that you can't control seems like a very bad plan.

Well our season is basically at a crossroads unless something changes. Stroman arm issues. No one can throw a freaking strike. Sanchez is part broken cause he cant/won't throw a breaking ball any more cause of blisters, If we get the SP back and hitting on all cylinders we could make the playoffs but they are just lost at the moment

Not one f***ing curveball yet. And against JDM he really could have used it.

 

This has to be what they think caused the blisters...only possible reason for him not towing it imo
