To be honest with the way he is swinging the bat he's earned it for now, when he comes back down to earth he will be back where he belongs
Smokinitup420 Verified Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 I still think Martin is hitting to high in the lineup but I guess ya gotta break up the 3 automatic outs at the bottom with Martin, grichuk and diaz

But right now they Jays lineup has 5 guys in it that shouldn't be hitting higher than 7th or 8th so he's the best of the shitpile we have after 1234

Smokinitup420 Verified Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Anyone with a discerning eye doesn't. Meh, he's not the greatest player but I don't mind him, and he's doing good so far this year, I'm sure it won't last but it's nice to see somebody hit once n a while with this s*** lineup (minus 1 thru 4) and gurriel, I love that kid!

No one wants him out of the lineup, he's still a good CF but he's not a good hitter.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 sending Travis down???? Really? He was just starting to hit ffs.
BlueJays Verified Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 sending Travis down???? Really? He was just starting to hit ffs. It was a great move. Great job by the management.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 It was a great move. Great job by the management. Grishuk deserved it more, Travis hit a homer and triple in his last second game and he got hot in May last year. Dumb move.

Grichuk can't be sent down, I don't believe he has any options. If he were to be DFA'd then some other team would surely pick him up and we would lose an asset.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 What the f*** that play was unbelievable!
el duque Verified Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 See there why Grichuk stays and Travis leaves
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 What a catch by Grichuk! And that didn't even hit the ground..

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 See there why Grishuk stays and Travis leaves Grishuk good ONE tool player right now.

Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 you're right but Diaz does. And Diaz can play SS. I don't know why you're bothered, Travis will be back before you know it.
el duque Verified Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 And Diaz can play SS. I don't know why you're bothered, Travis will be back before you know it. and when Travis is back who will be leaving?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Great eye, Teoscar continues to look promising at the plate.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 and when Travis is back who will be leaving? We'll go back to a 7 man bullpen.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 See there why Grichuk stays and Travis leaves That wasn't even a choice...the guy who can only play defense but is throwing it into the stands is the one who should have been gone
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Was just thinking Happ was looking good..... our starters need to step up their games.
