Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Glad to see LGJ back in the lineup and Pearce playing 1B because Smoak has been awful. Much needed day off.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Under normal circumstances, a pretty good damn bench, especially compared to years past. Today's Bench: Smoak Martin Travis Granderson
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Under normal circumstances, a pretty good damn bench, especially compared to years past. Today's Bench: Smoak Martin Travis Granderson Agreed. Despite some injuries we have quality players to step in everywhere. Shatkins has done an excellent job of building depth and our minor league system is really fluid right now with talented prospects at every level. Its been a long time since we had a bench this good and impactful prospects a phone call away. Its starting to feel more like the Dodgers, Cubs, and Astros situation who seem to have to many good players for only so many spots. And its only getting better. I can't wait until we get Donaldson back. Hopefully for the Red Sox series.
AledmysDiaz Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 If we weren't 13-6, id say that is a pretty ugly lineup
AledmysDiaz Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Travis day to day with sore left foot
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 That was a great game to watch last night. Fk I love to see Barnes come in. Like to watch him pitch. Osuna was nails. Nice to see the 96 V painted. So glad to be out of KC series and listening to Buck and Tabby babble on about Goins "career year" where he finished with a -0.3 WAR and 69 wRC+. Good riddance. Bench is so much better this season.
BlueJays Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Nice. Travis on the bench. Hoping for a solid outing for Stroman. He's due.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Travis day to day with sore left foot I'm over Travis. Hoping Grichuk picks it up
JonMc Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Need something from Stroman this afternoon. We need more than five plus innings from our starters. They were supposed to be the strong point of the season and they're mostly being carried. Someone needs to set the tone - can't be giving up three early runs in every game.
JonMc Verified Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 I'm over Travis. Hoping Grichuk picks it up I know what you mean but he has taken a pasting over the last few games. Considering it's Travis? I'm over the moon that he's not out for the foreseeable future with a broken metatarsal or something..

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Important game to win today with Severino on the mound tomorrow.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Keep doing that fatty so we don't have to watch you this time next month
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 I'm listening to the Yankees crew. David Cone is light years ahead of either Buck or Pat. I've now switched over to MLB.tv to do the same.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Stroman's putting on a groundball clinic so far. I think only Stanton and Anujar have hit the ball hard off him.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Hits the ball hard with no success. f*** it, cues the ball and ends up on base.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Alright someone hit a deep flyball at least. Let's cash that runner in.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 Would love to see LGJ try to take second here.
