Granderson right now. Pillar is pretty steady for us though. Watching him hit sucks sometimes but he does give you a lot of confidence defensively despite not being as good as he was a few years ago.

I like Teo a lot and would like to see him have the opurtunity to fail miserably before we say hes a flash in the plan. Hes going to strike out but he destroys Baseball.

Hopefully by next season Alford is our guy in CF but my confidence in him staying healthy isn’t high. But if puts together a good season in Buffalo. Pillar will probably be traded and the return might be pretty decent.

Grichuk is f***ing horrendous

He needs to be benched after that at bat last night.

LOL @ the list of folks who picked Granderson. As a guy who pretends to know a lot more about baseball than he does, I'm sure glad that my pick didn't have that roster of voters.

Pillar makes unbelievable plays, he is a spectacular CF, covering extra ground left and right.

i believe UZR this year he is a negative.... i know small sample size but his D is declining and hes missed a few catchable ball this year already. Far from unbelievable

Agree. Grichuk is terrible right now at the plate. He looks completely lost.

I watch the games, stats don't do s*** about great plays.

Great plays are memorable, but they don't tell 90% of the story of defense either.

The eye test is notoriously fallible and runs rampant with perception, historical and recency biases.

So hostile. I'm sure everyone is aware you've been watching for 60 years, or they are now. Old people are so stubborn.

And young people are so entitled and egotistical.

Stereotypes are fun aren't they?

There it is!

Take a shot every time JaysAllMighty mentions anything regarding his age, or anyone else's lack thereof.

We have no great all around outfieldersz that's the thing

I'll. Pick Pillar great defense and mediocre bat included

Hoping Hernandez or Alford become good all around players

Sign Harper.

2019 Jays

Martin / Jansen C

Smoak 1B

Bichette 2B

Diaz SS

Vlad 3B

Harper RF

Alford CF

Solarte LF

Tulo? DH

Grichuk

Travis

Gurriel

Hernandez

Harper / Vlad / Bichette turns a so-so lineup into an excellent one

Can't see Jays signing Harper...

Me either.... but in answer to your earlier post, signing Harper or Alford staying healthy and breaking out the only ways the Jays get a great all around OF'er

Give him 400 million. Harper would drive himself to Toronto lol. But no cute though.

The player that is easiest to project because he has been the most consistent throughout his career (as well as the best player) and has the skillset that that is least prone to extended offensive slumps (patience at plate/taking pitches, ability to take walks etc...) I see him being the best outfielder on this team. Pillar is the best defensively but his best skillset is in slight decline and neither Hernandez and Granderson are liabilities on defense so I can't take Pillars one tool as the deciding factor to chose him over Grandy.

You coward. I totally stand by mine.

I don't think it's cowardice to admit that I was wrong. I still stand by my "best on the 40 man is Alford" comment, however.
