They are really going to have Donaldson play 1B. Why not just bring in Grichuk and play Pearce at first and actually upgrade the defence lol.

I mean you do have to swing hard otherwise you're just gonna dribble the ball for a DP. The problem is swinging at a bunch of pitches outside the zone.

 

True but swing command is sometimes better than just swinging as hard as u can, gotta connect before that big swing is ever gonna matter, doesn't help when they swing at everything tho lol

He did but that slider on 3-2 was nasty.

You realize the entire point of pitching is to throw pitches that look like strikes, but aren't, so that hitters swing at them?

They really gave Donaldson an error on that. Perfect throw I doubt Happ beats him to the bag but whatever lol.

Valencia was meant to be disruptive in the clubhouse and Gibby preferred Colabello.

Yea I remember hearing he was pretty s***** character wise. Still, that team was surging and almost went to the World Series you'd think someone would be able to sit him down and get him to smarten up.

He spiked his throw into the dirt and it bounced towards the bag. It would have to be a speed demon for that not to be an error

I give credit when credit is due but considering his at bat with pillar I would've atleast waited til he could throw one over the plate first, Bundy did a hell of a job getting out of it though
