I don't know, I think he has a point. There's a library I go to that has a lot of glass windows, and even when the AC is on, you don't really feel it. With a space as large as the dome, do you feel the AC?

If it works, though, there's no reason to not try with our roof.

Are you aware how AC works?

Have you not been in a room with a s*** ton of windows on a hot summers day and even with the AC on it gets hot?

As a pitcher or as a human?

His free agency will be interesting as he's publicly stated he's only going to sign one year deals.

Eh, Frazier kinda looks a bit gross. If we're dealing both I'd rather aim somewhere else. I wish LA were more of a realistic target, a few guys there. Verdugo for JD and Happ would be nice.

Alex Vurdugo and Dustin May for Happ and Donaldson. That would be a pretty good deal.

Maybe. What's worth more? Six 1 year deals at the max you can get each year or one six year deal?

Security, he's a smart guy, he should know better especially being a pitcher.

6 one year deals would be worth more...but only if you're healthy enough, and perform well enough to get those 6 individual deals at a hefty pricetag.

Yeah, set yourself up for life, then go year to year the rest of your career if you really want to.

There's no real reason to think his performance will fall off a cliff, he's only gotten better. Also, if he gets injured he would still get paid handsomely by a team.

You could also argue that getting 1 year at 20 to 30 mil already has you set for life.

I dunno if I'd wanna risk going year to year as a pitcher. You could just turn into a pumpkin at any time with TOS or a shoulder tear or even TJ.

Bauer would know his own medicals though and he doesn't have any history of injuries. It's just a case of maximizing your earnings vs job security, I guess. I just find it interesting as theres really no precedent for it for a player of his talent level. He sure isn't conventional.

I forgot to mention that he has a bet with a friend in which if he signs a multiyear MLB deal his friend gets to shoot him in the nuts with a paintball gun from a close distance.

It's really dumn but I'm sure he really trusts his whole throwing program and his arm for now has been incredibly durable. He's an unorthodox player all around but it's gotten him results thus far in his career. Will be interesting to watch unfold.
