Lmao, apparently Chris Sale's health and stomach issues were caused by, in his own words, "irritation from a belly-button ring". You can't make this stuff up.

Sale loses man points for that.

So is he trying to use this to explain the loss of velocity?

This is helluva Saturday night for sports

GAME 7 Dodgers vs Brewers,

Raps vs Wizards

Riders vs Stampeders

Leafs vs Blues

Habs vs Senators

All on right now. If heaven exists, this is what it would be for me.

That, or a blow job from the wife while playing Call of Duty.

Baseball America had a chat scheduled with JJ Cooper about Tampa Rays top 10 prospects at 2 pm today. It appears, not a single question was asked.

D-backs re-sign Escobar to three-year deal

Diamondbacks re-signed INF Eduardo Escobar to a three-year, $21 million contract.

Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic was first to report the deal and the team has officially announced it. Escobar was set to hit free agency this offseason, but he's decided to forego the open market and remain where he finished this season. Bringing Escobar back -- especially at a relatively modest rate -- makes a lot of sense from the Diamondbacks' perspective, as Jake Lamb had an awful 2018 before having shoulder surgery. Escobar also offers protection at shortstop and second base, as well. Slated to turn 30 in January, Escobar is coming off a career-best offensive season that saw him bat .272/.334/.489 with 23 home runs and 84 RBI.

Seems like a very solid deal for the D-Backs, not a big commitment with a fair amount of upside. Even if Escobar is more 2017 than 2018 they'll take it for that price.

Did she just try and threaten him with the fact that she's a woman?

It's the go-to these days for people like her. Can't have a contrary opinion to a woman's if you're a man because that means you're talking down to them, being oppressive or some other bat s*** crazy crap.
