Tuivailala to the Mariners for Seth Elledge.

 

Normally, this wouldn't even be worth mentioning, but I have to ask - why. Why!? Good god, Jerry DiPoto is dumb. There's a really good chance that Elledge could've been called up from High-A and performed better than Tuivailala right now.

 

The upside with Elledge is that of a very good reliever, while relievers like Tuivailala are a dime a dozen - he's replacement level.

They're right that robo umps would eliminate it, but as far as cheating goes when JPA was catching by their logic the other team was cheating by getting the favorable calls due to him taking balls OUT of the zone.

Well, I mean you could extend the logic by saying that a catcher giving signs to the pitcher is cheating, etc. It's just a nonsensical argument in general.

I have spent most of the season in first. I'm currently in second. I have been absolutely ravaged by injuries lately. Based on projections alone I should win my league though. I have some adjustments I would like to make. Health will ultimately be huge for me.
