Judge cashing in on Yankee Stadium specials shouldn't be allowed lol. That was practically a pop fly.

and the Braves cashed in with a cheaper home run shortly thereafter, funny how that never gets mentioned by people whining about the Yankees going there.

It's an opposite field hit for Judge, keep that in mind as well...

Maybe he should have worried less about his teammates and more about not giving up 3 run doubles to the opposing pitcher.

The Sox were really working their counts last night too, I think Scherzer was up over 70 pitches through 3 innings.

The Yankees shitbox of a blatantly illegal stadium allows them to design their team to exploit it, It's clearly an advantage for them to play there.

Sheryl Ring getting dragged in the comments section of one of her articles again:

https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/would-chris-bosio-win-a-wrongful-termination-suit/

Well I'm glad at least that the comment section isn't just bowing down.

Like, why did she have to include that line about Bosio being a white, cisgender straight male? What relevance does that have to anything? Why do these SJWs always have to go there?

As Deadpool said, the Yankees design their team around the short porch with LHB's... IE: Gregorious/Gardner, etc... guys of that ilk add value playing 81 games in New York.

I picked up Avisaíl García as a short term fantasy option while some of my Outfielders get healthy and he hasn't walked this season once. 121 plate appearances. Not a single walk. That's insane.

It won't be long until Ring voluntarily quits posting on Fangraphs. There's not enough validation in the comments. She could find more on other platforms.

Getting s*** on every time you make a post would take its toll, even if warranted. I can’t imagine she finds the job much fun at this point.

Mariners, there is an extended losing streak coming, if there is a God.

"The Mariners have a winning percentage of .635. According to the line of best fit for all this, the Mariners would be expected to have a winning percentage of .526. The Mariners, therefore, are overachieving by .109. That’s the greatest such difference in the sample, which numbers more than 2,500 teams. If the Mariners were to keep this up, they’d be the greatest run-differential overachiever ever, by a considerable margin over the 1955 Athletics."

After last night's game plus the recent performance, the Nats are in BIG trouble. 3.5 back of a wild card(with the Dodgers, Cubs, Phillies, Cards and Giants making it difficult for the Nats to gain ground), 7 games back of Atlanta.. Mike Rizzo is in a serious jam. Almost certain to lose Bryce Harper at year's end, Strasburg/Scherzer's and Zimmerman's albatross deals clogging up half the payroll (yes, Strasburg and Scherzer are albatross contract due to heavy back-loading), loads of free agents and the team facing a real threat of missing the playoffs, does he blow it up except for Eaton, Soto and Turner and try to restock the team's farm system, which needs significant replenishment?

If the team continues to slide, what will they do?

The Nats are all in, and I still think they win the NL East. The Braves are living a charmed life.

Maybe "she" should write something original and not regurgitate articles written by other writers like a leech.

I don't know about the Nationals. Harper is still struggling mightily, their catcher position is a black hole, Murphy is showing signs of decline, Zimmerman and Strasburg both on the DL, Roark and Gio having down years. No signs of encouragement halfway through the season. The Braves are over achieving, but they can add some bullpen help and pitching at the deadline to help them out. They're legit this year.

Could you imagine if the Nats were to fall out of the race entirely in the next few weeks, what kind of circus would erupt if there were rumours of Harper being on the trade block?

You don't realize how much of a mess the Nats organization is. Injuries, limited depth and Harper having a lousy season with the bat.

Oh, and they're getting blown out by the Red Sox again as Roark is getting destroyed--9-2 Boston.

Mariners are dumb.

2.75M guarantee for a serviceable arm. I don’t have a problem with it

It took me a bit to figure out who Wade LeBlanc was in this picture. Dipoto looks good for 50.

Meg Rowler just wrote a piece on Archie Bradley s***ing his pants in which she tried to decipher the day it happened. In the article she referenced a deadspin piece on the same topic which already had the date figured out.
