Pohtani crashing back to earth

he gave up 3 runs in 2 innings against a good team. That's hardly a shocking occurrence. I have no idea why they pulled him after 2 innings. Did he get hurt?

66 pitches. Probably just being careful with his arm.

Maybe because they're actually playing a decent team for the first time? They can't play Teas and KC all the time.. and Oakland, who is playing better now (they're up a lot on the White Sox).. remember, the A's are a much better team than they've shown. They just need more starting pitching..

There goes the Corbin no-hitter on a Belt check-swing infield single against the shift, with two outs in the 8th.

Blister for Shohei Ohtani. Hopefully he hasn't been cursed the same way Rich Hill has been, and Aaron Sanchez was last year.. where the blisters cause extended DL stints.

And that's 4 HRs given up by Luke Bard.. he's all but booking a return back to the Twins organization pitching crappily like this and showing that he's not MLB ready.

Man, I had no idea that Moises Sierra was still kicking around in the majors. He was in the starting lineup today for the Nats. Went 2-4 with a stolen base lol

18% whiff rate going into tonight, that's crazy. Ughhhhhh I was so close to landing him in DDL.

Has Ohtani topped 100 tonight?

Poor guy can't get outs at 98-99. He should really just opt for TJ now and take Trout with him.

NESN is actually giving the Jays credit for being a good team. I honestly didn't think anyone had noticed.

To be fair, we've faced a bunch of s***** teams. The only decent teams we've played are Cleveland and NY.

The Red Sox have played some s*** teams themselves unless i'm mistaken.

The Red Sox have faced the Rays 7 times, the Marlins twice and the Orioles 4 times as well. It's not like their schedule has been any tougher.

Blister on Ohtani’s middle finger, meant he couldn’t control his offspeed pitches.

Angels say it shouldn’t affect his hitting, and they’re hoping he still makes his next start.

"He'll get it rolling here and eventually the league will pay for his early struggles," Aaron Boone told reporters after Tuesday's 9-1 loss. ( Regarding Stanton

Lol that sounds like a wwf comment. Aaron Boone is a hack.

Good to start April better than last year's 8-17

Anyone who works in baseball and picked Betts over Trout should be fired immediately. Betts is a great player but Trout is the best to ever play.

If you've watched the NESN broadcasts lately, they have repeatedly referred to Betts as "some say the best player in baseball." It's a good laugh.
