I wonder if that moves Taylor back to the IF, and Joc to CF?

Possibly, or Utley to 2nd and Forsythe to 3rd. With Kike and Barnes as an option, likely your suggested scenario.

You can get 5 lines with unlimited data in the States for under 100 dollars.

In Canada you are lucky if you can find 1 line with 6 gigs of data for around 100 dollars.

It would be a dream if an American company can role in and end the Monopoly which is the Bell and Rogers media umpire. I get discounts and I am still spending around 90 bucks. I need to turn my data off for periods of time just to stay under.

LOL LOL LOL

There is NO chance an American company is going to come here, ever. Not because of the oligopoly's power, but because it's not worth their time. One of the last business cases I was a part of when still in the industry was analyzing the threat of Verizon entering in the Canadian market. The end result was slim to none. The business case was -$2 billion to them lol.

A U.S. company can either try to get 5M extra subscribers on their home base of 300+ million people or can enter into the Canadian market and struggle to get 5M people on a base one-tenth that size, while incurring massive upfront costs of buying spectrum and building out its network (unless they wanted to go the MNVO route which would be slim to none), and marketing to a new place, including needing materials and customer service in French. So what route do you think they will take?

Very interesting read on the Rays going with a 4 man rotation, lots of good quotes from Archer, really like that kid, good head on his shoulders..

One day we might see this more often, especially if there is an extension to the 25 man squad to allow teams to have 4 starters, 6/7 one inning relievers, and 2/3 long relievers on the roster at the same time.

f*** that. One of the front office's job along with the manager is to manage the team with a scarcity in roster spots. Decisions to carry one extra reliever versus bench player, taking advantage of players with options and using the DL etc. I don't want that decision to be made easier with teams carrying a million RPs. Plus Manfred and his stupid time obsession wouldn't want the extra pitching changes (I don't want that either - give me Gossage type guys who are actually GOOD and can get all types of batters out over multiple innings).

I pay 60, unlimited data, call and text. It's not hard unless you're a dummy who just sticks with Bell/Rogers/Telus.

You get unlimited data? From who? Bell and Rogers doesn't even offer that.

Im with Bell. 6 gigs, unlimited everything else 65+ tax. The trick with Bell is only dealing with their loyalty dept. WAAAAYY better deals. I live SK currently and sasktel offers unlimited data (throttled after 10gigs) for around the same price. Or they had the 13th man plan (cuz everything has to be RoughRiders related here) which was 13 gigs unlimited everything else for 70

It must suck living in a province where the CFL is jammed down your throat like you're Heather Brooke (Harmon).

Early internet pornstars for 200 Alex.... I'm originally from BC and don't care about football period so it's not such a big deal. Impressive fan base and all diehards. My other team is the Canucks so to see fans so passionate, win or lose vs jays/canucks fans that very fickle/band wagoners is quite refreshing.

I pay $45 for unlimited data (LTE, but throttled after 6 GB), call, text, and some free roaming thrown in for good measure. The Freedom to choose is nice.

I have the same plan, sometimes they can really suck cause their coverage zone isn't as good, but at that price I'll deal with it.

This is true. Reception can be spotty in a few places here in the city, but it's overall pretty good. For the price, I don't even question it.

I've had a company phone (which I'm allowed to use for personal use) for like 10+ years now. What a nice perk that is. I've never had to worry about data usage and thus I have no feel for what 6 gigs or 10 gigs gets me (or limits me to).

Yeah I like Freedom a lot. Every time I get a spot of slow data, I remind myself of the days where I had to wait for my cap to reset. They've gotten miles better since the first time I had them, though.

That is not a good deal for the Orioles. Cobb is an okay pitcher but when you look at what Phillies and Cubs paid for the Arrieta and Darvish, 17 mil a year for Cobb is horrible in this market

It doesn't matter. They'll milk the season ticket spike, then void the contract for some magical little thing in the physical.

I would like to meet the person who decides that signing Alex Cobb is the reason to push them over the line to purchase season's tickets. lol

Now they're saying 4 years 60M

Sounds like something the Orioles would do

Well they just got Ubaldo off the books, so it seems natural to quickly waste the resources.

Insead of Cobb and Cashner they could have had Darvish.

Assuming Darvish would have ANY interest in going to the O's...

And keep in mind that Cobb was so expensive because the last team he wanted to go to was Loltimore.
