G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Pretty much. Or you do whatever you have to do to trade Morales for a bag of balls and just start that now. We know how good Pillar is defensively What about Grichuk and Hernandez? You can handle one sub par defender in the OF but you don't want two if you can avoid it

Has graded out as positive every year according the fangraphs.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Angels are going to use a 6 man rotation this year. Kinda makes sense considering Ohtani, Skaggs, Richards, and Heaney are all coming off injury and will be on inning limits.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Kinda makes sense considering Ohtani, Skaggs, Richards, and Heaney are all coming off injury and will be on inning limits. It also means Ohtani can pitch once and DH 2 or 3 times a week. I wonder if this was always part of their pitch to him.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 I am going to start off by saying i am a huge Votto fan.... maybe the maple leaf sways be a bit but i think he is the best hitter in the league if not one of the best.... I don't know if he f***ed Russos wife but the guy just spews s*** against him i have never stand to listen to him. Mad Dog and Kenny are fun, old school vs an analytical guy... Kenny comes out miles ahead every time, lol.

This was the plan all along as soon as the ink dried on Ohtan's contract, I think it's smart for the reasons you entailed.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Matt Kemp is being paid by 3 different teams this season LOL
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Jim Bowden just said something on MLB Network that shocked me. "Over the last 5 years, the Dodgers have eaten more money on dumped contracts than the Tampa Bay Rays have paid for their actual playing roster" Not sure if he's being literal or not. Is this actually true or just hyperbole.
GreekFatAss Verified Member Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 At one point ARoid was making more money in a season than the entire Marlins 25 man roster.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Well it's official, Chase Field is getting a humidor this season. Goldy and Lamb owners are pissed.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 No more public KATOH Good, it's dogshit. Finally I can stop hearing about it.
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Good, it's dogshit. Finally I can stop hearing about it. I'm looking forward to not seeing the 'Projecting shitbag X' article every time a prospect gets traded.
sdyment Verified Member Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 February 11th, 2018 at 9:01pm CST • By Mark Polishuk With his career as a starting pitcher faltering in 2013, Zach Duke decided to embrace being a reliever after some blunt words from his wife Kristin, the newly-signed Twin tells Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. “She kind of had to beat it through my head that I was done as a starter,” Duke said. “My wife just kind of said, ‘Listen, nobody is interested in you as a starter anymore. They’ve seen it, babe. There’s nothing changing. They know what they’re going to get as a starter, and nobody wants it anymore.’ ” Kristin’s advice ended up turning her husband’s career around, particularly after a late-season run of success out of the Reds’ bullpen in 2013. Over the last four seasons, Duke has a 2.85 ERA, 2.62 K/BB rate and a 10.0 K/9 over 198 2/3 relief innings. Sounds like Jerry McGuire’s fiancée...
Muck Bartinez Verified Member Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 I don't know if Russo f***ed his own wife; that guy has closet case written all over him. I never used to get that vibe from him at all when I listened to him on satellite radio, but after watching him on TV I think that all the time. His hand movements are so frequent and awkward that it's painful to watch.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Good, it's dogshit. Finally I can stop hearing about it. Why so butthurt? Its just different. Also, KATOH is gone because a MLB team wanted to own it. Yeah, such dogshit! Just stick to your generic lists that are all the same so you can nitpick when one is slightly different than the others. Nothing says free thinker like mindlessly abiding with the consensus of an unscientific method that is mostly ********.
