I'm sorry you had one day where a plain clothes Officer ruined your day, its something us black guys have never dealt with lol...a black kid in Sacramento just killed in his backyard for no reason by cops...here in Ottawa a police officer recently got charged with manslaughter for killing an unarmed black guy..racism is everywhere, including this message board!

As far as being uncomfortable and marginalized, I’ve been to Gary, Indiana. Those people are truely the above.

I’ve been the victim of a racial crime and been on the receiving end of an unpleasant experience with a plain clothes officer and fyi I’m Caucasian.

 

I bet your familiar with all the instances of blacks being shot by police, yet you can’t name one out of the thousands of black on black homicides every year that happen in the US.

 

White people get killed by police all the time too.

 

I was jumped and robbed in the middle of the night by 5 black men, so boohoo to you and your uncomfortable feelings.

 

If your getting bothered by the police on a regular basis then your the problem.

 

Racism is everywhere because you make it that way. You are absolute proof of that in this thread.

 

Stroman was criticized because of his behaviour and his character and you went and made it a race issue. You could have taken a step back, looked at the facts of why we are saying he is a douchebag and maybe come to a different conclusion. Instead you keep hurling racism this racism that. No im not familiar with every police shootings that happen in the states..the one in Sacramento stands out to be because I'm an NBA junkie and I bet on the Kings vs Hawks game tonight that I'm watching atm, and Prince of the Hawks is on my fanasty team. there was a protest there and fans couldn't get in the game so I read up on what hell was going on there...I'm sorry that you got jumped by 5 black guys.Violence and crime is a big problem in my community and I will own that for sure, I do a lot of mentoring programs here in Ottawa on my time off and encourage other young successful members of my race to do the same...really, unarmed white guys get killed at same rate as unarmed black guys in the states? Come on dude, you really believe that?

 

Yes there is huge black on black crime that happens...there's also lot of white on white crime that's happen as well, people dend harm the people their mostly around..

Also, some people here compared Marcus Stroman to Johnny Manziel.

 

I'm rooting for Manziel's comeback but he played two seasons and washed out of the league. Add to that, an extremely colourful off-the field life.

 

Marcus Stroman shows excitement and tweets non-offensive things you don't like, while becoming one of the top pitchers in the AL.

 

You completely minimized and maximized just the right aspects of their lives in order to compare them to each other.
