    Watched the last at bat there by vlad and the celebration over and over again for 30 minutes I think..so excited for the future of this team. fu*k man, I should have burned a sick day and the made 2 hour drive to watch the game live

    Unarmed killing by cops is what our community gets upset about man, why is that so hard to get? there's a ton of justicefied killings that happen when a suspects has a gun or knife...

    No im not familiar with every police shootings that happen in the states..the one in Sacramento stands out to be because I'm an NBA junkie and I bet on the Kings vs Hawks game tonight that I'm watching atm, and Prince of the Hawks is on my fanasty team. there was a protest there and fans couldn't get in the game so I read up on what hell was going on there...I'm sorry that you got jumped by 5 black guys.Violence and crime is a big problem in my community and I will own that for sure, I do a lot of mentoring programs here in Ottawa on my time off and encourage other young successful members of my race to do the same...really, unarmed white guys get killed at same rate as unarmed black guys in the states? Come on dude, you really believe that? Yes there is huge black on black crime that happens...there's also lot of white on white crime that's happen as well, people dend harm the people their mostly around..

I'm sorry you had one day where a plain clothes Officer ruined your day, its something us black guys have never dealt with lol...a black kid in Sacramento just killed in his backyard for no reason by cops...here in Ottawa a police officer recently got charged with manslaughter for killing an unarmed black guy..racism is everywhere, including this message board!

    What wrong with having a diverse staff team? I work in place dominated by males and love seeing females hired more often as long they are qualified for the job...I don't think anyone should be given anything but if you have two people that are both qualified for the position and one person adds something different (race,sex,bilingual etc) then you already have they might help make your staff team much better!

    A new law in Ontario came into affect in January 2017 banning random carding of people...as white dude you had the privilege to walk around Toronto without being harrased by a cop, I can do that now too when I come for a couple jay's and raptor games. Anyway the dude who started this thread is a closest racist...just say it man, you hate black people and are pissed that females have the nerve to ask for equal pay

    I don't think anyone here is villifying white people. does systemic racism exist? Of course man...I work in the Justice system and often see people of colour or diffferent ethnicity getting harsher fines/sentences then white people who have committed the same crime. Sometimes that has to do with the white/masculine dude having more income to get a good defensive lawyer

    Thanks dude...I really appreciate it, I'm lucky enough to live in a community and country where I feel totally accepted. I've traveled a lot and seen what real racism looks like...I get it though, guys like Stroman and PK Subban can turn people off with there "look at me" attitude, I'll be honest I love it! One more week til 1st game!!!!
