I honestly doubt you actually read the thread if that is your takeaway from it. Stro has an annoying, self absorbed, little man syndrome personality, and it makes him difficult for some of us to root for. No one is questioning his talent, but rather whether they want to cheer for a guy who acts like such a diva.

 

You'll notice that we don't have people saying the same about Sanchez, Osuna or any of our other top young players. There's a reason for that, and it's everything to do with Stro's obnoxious personality.

Obviously it's up to you if you don't like him and would prefer to see him in another team, but there's no denying that he's excellent and were we to shop him, the Blue Jays would be expecting a big return. I wanna take what y'all say on this board seriously but then you get threads like this and just makes you wonder. Stro by far the most likable player on the Jays given what he came from and how goes about his business. I really hope they resign him long term and if they don't I'll hope he does well wherever he goes. Stroman is definitely a fan favourite if you're a fan who's under 30 and not white, a demographic I'm sure the Jays would love to have on as fans. Or maybe they can bring back the "White Jays" that Riccardi had put together I'm sure that'll be a great team on this board to cheer for.
