TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Doesn't he have to tag him on that play?
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 I blame you for what's about to happen. Sure, I'll wear it. Indians are f***ing chokers though, wow.
Ray Verified Member Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 I wish we could rebuild like the Yankees.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 (edited) Yankees vs Astros....great. Cleveland take your 22 game win streak and f***off. Edited October 12, 2017 by Omar
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 The Yankees have a strong case to make the series too. Their bullpen aside from Game 2 has been f***ing stellar as of late.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 This just sucks, plain and simple.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2017 Author Posted October 12, 2017 This one is so good.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 I dunno why you guys dislike the Yankees so much. This is a way different team from the days where they would just buy everyone, fun, young and exciting. Down 2-0 against the best team in the AL and they come back to win 3 straight against Carrasco and Kluber. Impressive. I hope they go all the way.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Why couldn't the Indians choke against us like they do against everyone else?

I grew up hating them and just don't see a reason to change.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2017 Author Posted October 12, 2017 Best team won. This isn't true. The Indians were the best team in the league.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 This isn't true. The Indians were the best team in the league. Yes but just not this past week. Happy Cleveland is out, now hopeful to see an Astros vs Nationals world Series. Hold on to your peckers, should be great baseball ahead.

Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time for that when they sign Harper/Machado and friends and are crushing our teams under their feet.

The result is scary as can be seen. Gotta hope for some regression but even then they will be a darn right scary force.

They could actually afford both Machado and either Harper or Stanton. Their orher salaries will climb as they enter their later arbitration years but still...
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Although I forgot they're still saddled with Ellsbury's awful contract and they have two bullpen arms making 12M+
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 This year they shed the following contracts: CC $25M Holiday $13M Frazier $6M Pineda $6M Owed to players not on the team $29M I can see them focusing on a pitcher this off season and 2019 is when they go big.
