G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 12, 2017 Author Posted September 12, 2017 I like it. Saturday 4 PM seems like a good idea. Families will experience same number of Jr. Jays days (13) as in 2017 For the first time ever, will also include three Jr. Jays Weekends! All Sunday game times remain at 1:07 p.m.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 It's about time Toronto opens in Toronto in the early part of the season. We have a dome and so many northern states do not. Frankly Toronto should never play a team like Tampa for the first week of the season.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 So who are the interleague away games? Seems like the Mets and the Phillies?

Use the domes and lower states early, don't play games for the first two weeks in places like Colorado (where it's pretty much always horrible conditions).

Late March/Early April: Colorado Cleveland Detroit Chicago = Yuck Seattle Toronto Tampa LA Arizona Milwaukee Texas Miami = Yay
ChrisS Verified Member Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 So who are the interleague away games? Seems like the Mets and the Phillies? Mets, Phillies, Braves, Marlins. Ugh. It would be nice if it were Cubs again and Pitts. Would like to go to PNC.

What NL teams come to Toronto? Edited September 12, 2017 by Brownie19

You can always go to PNC. The Blue Jays not playing there shouldn't stop you. It's only a 6 hr drive from Toronto.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 That's a pretty terrible slate. If the Mets are healthy, could possibly see Thor pitch against the Jays which would be cool. If the Marlins keep Stanton, it'll be fun watching his at-bats. Braves & Phillies meh, though at least they shouldn't be that difficult opponents.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Where's this place in Pittsburgh? Club Erotica. They also have the VIP room for lappers + rooms for private, behind closed doors dances (which I'd never seen before).

The NL West really is the worst year for interleague. Having the Nats come to town is cool but since we play the Braves or Phillies every year and they suck it gets tiring. With the other divisions you're either getting Dodgers/Giants or Cubs/Pirates
