Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Terrible time for the ump to tighten up the zone.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Author Posted September 6, 2017 That throw home by JBJ was ludicrously good. Not many players beat that throw.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 That throw home by JBJ was ludicrously good. The way it tailed to the center position was mesmerizing. That's knowing your arm right there, beautiful.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 That slider was nasty, Luis Santos has legit secondaries.

Was just going to post that, as soon as you see it 3-5 feet off 2nd towards first, you knew he was dead. Just beautiful.
MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 I've got another plan. Ramirez and Santos for setup/closer next year and send Osuna to AA/AAA to work on his stuff and become a starter. Would be a ballsy move tho.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Just tuned in......omg Osuna.......
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Sucks how often we are having this Osuna conversation and mostly after a tough outing. Yeah but dealing from an apparent area of strength in order to fill needs elsewhere with young, athletic controllable talent is a conversation that needs to take place. BTW, it's the only way that type of talent can be obtained.

He'd be in the minors for three years getting stretched out. All of that team control would be wasted.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Rough night for Ureña, it started out with a promising line drive and then it was all downhill from there.
MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Lol that young Boston pitcher is a dummy
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Can't bunt for s***. Must've come up the Jays' system.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Pearce has such an ugly bat path. Looks like JD Martinez pre-swing change.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 I've heard of falling off the mound with the follow through, but Santos almost fell right off the field in that strikeout.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Betts is killing this kid.
MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 urena is getting f***ed by betts
MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 can raffy lopez schtick?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Mookie has 60 DRS over the last 2 years. That's crazy
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Wouldnt mind seeing Osuna relegated to setup man for the remainder of the season to get his s*** together.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Wouldnt mind seeing Osuna relegated to setup man for the remainder of the season to get his s*** together. Don't think it would help him any, and frankly, the losses are probably better for us this year anyway. I think it's more pitch selection than anything the relegation would help.

I think it's more pitch selection than anything the relegation would help. Perhaps but I got a feeling he's very stubborn, which ties in to pitch selection. He needs Martin to say " just shutup and pitch what I put down" and I think he's missing Martins steady hand behind the dish. He needs his wings clipped and setup may do that.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Having Dermody figure it out over the next month, to go with some of the other arms we've found and brought up this year, could be massive for our pen next year. Very good AND very cheap.

Very good AND very cheap. Yeah Dermody's really gotten his s*** together after his abhorrent start. Props to him. Him, Mayza and Loup could mean we finally have a few decent lefties in the 'pen.
