jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Liriano + cash for Gilberto Celestino please
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 We aren't getting anybody we've heard of, don't hold your breath.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Author Posted July 31, 2017 Liriano is an underrated get. Great bullpen piece and can spot start if needed.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Liriano for Carlos Correa please!
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 The best I'd be hoping for right now is a change of scene guy like A.J. Reed.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 ...lol A.J. Reed's trade value has tanked completely, that's the only reason I mention him. A 1B-only guy putting up a 110 wRC+ in AAA is not a core asset and could realistically be an org guy if he doesn't turn it around soon.

I think if we pay the rest of his salary Gilberto Celestino is a reasonable ask.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Now we're talking. I knew we could get something, even marginal. Hopefully the Astros are pulling another JD Martinez blunder.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Really hoping for George Springer here.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Author Posted July 31, 2017 Really hoping for George Springer here. might have to throw in Smith for them to consider
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Teoscar Hernandez another possibility.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Really hoping for George Springer here. Pass. Never heard of him.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Really hoping for George Springer here. He just went on the DL so he's injury prone. No thanks!
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Myles Straw. Just looked up an outfield from Sickels top prospect list at random. That's my guess.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 I was about to comment on how well turning Hutch into McGuire, Ramirez, + whatever jabroni we get here worked out. Then I looked up the numbers and pretty much everyone involved in this sequence of moves is terrible now.
