Can someone give me a quick explanation of why all 3 got ejected?

 

Tight strikezone, Stroman got frustrated and started consistently complaining. Gibby protected him and got thrown out. Next pitch was called a ball (correctly) Stroman swore at ump and was thrown out, Martin reacted and was thrown out instantly too.

 

Stroman then ran at the umpire and was held back (didn't take much to hold him back though).

Stroman was bad, kept missing, zone called just fine, Stroman walks his 6th on a clear ball and yells at the ump after complaining since the 1st inning. Then ump gets sick of it so he tosses him, then Martin says something and gets tossed. Gibbons tossed earlier in the inning for chirping about another correctly called ball.

 

Its been an embarrassing display by the Blue Jays and by the two idiots who we have as announcers.

Nice snare by Chapman. Kid has some impressive range at 3B and good pop, he'll be a fine ballplayer if the hit tool catches up enough.

I'm not defending Stroman, but he probably also thinks some of his pitches aren't missing because Martin is doing an outstanding job of framing them. Now Montero is doing the same thing, it all adds to the frustration when a borderline call which seems like it's right on the corner thanks to catcher doesn't go your way.

You don't send a guy hoping the fielder makes a mistake, you send him when it takes a perfect throw to beat the runner. It's just another in a comically long list of horrible sends by Rivera

 

It's hard being a 3rd base coach these days because players don't take OF practice anymore so you don't get to see who throws the best.
