Just read your posts this thread.

Where I'm right? Shut the f*** up and try coming up with substance if you have an issue. I know you're a homer and it's hard to grasp that the Jays could be at fault but maybe try extra hard and maybe you can do it.

just watched the replay. It was way more body language and talking to himself. The ump was on edge obviously but he let the earlier stuff get to him IMO.

I think he yelled "BULL" loudly after the ump said ball 4.

Sounds like Stroman complaining about balls being called balls.

He usually gets those calls so he's reacting. I'd love to hear if the front office would like him to keep his emotions in check or they like him being his emotional self.

Should an ump really be able to throw players out for complaining about balls and strikes though? players should be thrown out for being abusive or delaying the game. Who cares if players are arguing with you - it doesn't interfere with your ability to do your job at all. Just call the plays. We're all just trying to watch a ball game and throwing out the starting pitcher and catcher so scrubs can come in ruins the whole game. Just so one guy doesn't have to listen to whining any more. If players want to be cry babies let them. If they start getting verbally abusive then you can throw them out.

This won't change until the Robo HP umpire.

Looks to me like the ump took his mask off and started jawing at Stroman first.

I actually agree with the no arguing balls and strikes rule. if they start letting that happen games would be unbearable.

Stroman has been complaining since the first inning. The ump is only human.

I mean, I wish he hadn't tossed them but I don't really blame him for doing it.

this game was the worst ive seen it and it was still a lot more enjoyable than watching chris smith pitch to montero

Yeah, he's clearly fed up.

both teams have been whining about the calls. to suddenly toss the manager, pitcher and catcher on two pitches is kind of extreme.

if anyone from the As says anything about the zone they better get tossed too.

They will.

Players need to realise the umps are wrong 10-15% of the time overall...ehich means they are probably wrong about 30% of the time on close pitches. They should expect missed calls. Some will help them, others will hurt.

That said. Playing baseball my whole life - it's incredibly hard to restrain yourself in the heat of the moment. That's life.

Maybe he wouldn't get tossed if he wasnt being a huge f***ing baby everytime a borderline call doesn't go his way.

The As have not been complaining nearly as much.

What's really pissing me off is Buck and Pat talking about the ump having a bad game while analyzing only the reaction by the players, especially a consistent whiner like Stroman. I feel like home plate umps are bad so often that it's important to give them props when they do well.

So when the game started I thought Boxy was getting at Stroman a little too hard, but as the game went on even I got really annoyed. And this is coming from the guy who likes when Bautista jaws at umps

Stroman is always high energy. he's as much frustrated with himself as he is with the zone. I think Martin holding close pitches a few seconds trying to buy a call in what is a slightly tight zone egged Stroman into thinking he was getting screwed.

zone has been conservative but the same all game. It happens and the pitcher and catcher need to adjust instead of fighting it.

Martin holds a lot of close pitches for a couple extra seconds and then slumps when he doesn't get the call. I think that can make the pitcher think balls are actually good pitches and make things worse at times, especially with Stroman who is hyper

No one wants to see "Great Job Ump another magnificent call!" 5 f***ing times. Its bad enough when Stroman complains and not have to hear someone else complaining twice as much.

Turn up the volume. Stro yelled "BULL" after the ball 4 call. Then the ump took off the mask

Then put me on ignore? Its not very hard

So basically Gibbons got run for nothing, he tries to protect his pitcher, gets tossed, should be over. Stro whines like a stunned f***ing minion while Blue's hot, gets tossed, f***s the BP. Martin turns and says WTF... gets ejected for basically nothing but a pissed umpire. Over worked BP and short are best C cause the ump blew that call(On tossing Martin). Right?
