Governator Community Moderator Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 It's like RA Dickey 2.0, guess the implosion inning all over again.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 If guys can't execute, it's not on the manager. We're using the BP in 3 straight games before the 5th for f*** sakes!
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 lulz... all Gibby's fault, right! Come on, we were all dreading Estrada pitching to EE.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Estrada suxxx. I get the calls to pull him but in order to get something for him or in order to contend again he's got to get this figured out. Plus the bullpen is getting taxed from all these s***** starts. I don't mind Gibby trying to get his starter through the freaking 5th inning at least.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 Come on, we were all dreading Estrada pitching to EE. Does it matter, he's a dangerous hitter, no matter who's on the hill.

Ray Verified Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Reid-Foley tore it up tonight in AA. 12K's through 6.2 IP. Only 1ER and 2BB
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Why? Because Biagini was arguably more consistent?
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 RIP Estrada's career, it was a great 2 years.

Yeah this is a fiasco. Total 180 degrees from 2016 when I think the the Jays led all of MLB in innings pitched by the starters. I think I am done watching Estrada and Liriano flail away. So glad they are both gone after this season.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 Because Biagini was arguably more consistent? At getting lit up, sure.
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 At getting lit up, sure. I guess
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 I guess Beeg belongs where he is at this point. He excels there.
BillBucknorslegs Verified Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 At getting lit up, sure. Biagini: ERA 5.11, FIP 3.74, xFIP 3.89, 0.89 HR/9 Estrada: ERA 5.33, FIP 4.31, xFIP 4.60, 1.46 HR/9
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 f***, there pen is so good.

BillBucknorslegs Verified Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 So, until Estrada's moved bro, there's no point. I agree with this and I would have left Estrada in against EE, but I would also like to see Beeg stretched out for several starts again.
Ray Verified Member Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 f***, there pen is so good. Our 'pen has been incredible too. Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 It's Kluber Buck, already announced.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 22, 2017 Author Posted July 22, 2017 Beliveau has a quirky delivery. Taps in the glove twice and s***. Pegs a hitter, lol.
