Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 This Blue Jays team is just plain bad. At least Justin Smoak has been a bright spot. But, Pillar has gone back to being Pillar, Goins has been a disappointment as usual, Devon Travis continues his history of being injured, Tulowitzki is a declining veteran, Martin hasn't been anything special behind the plate or at the plate, Steve Pearce seems to have a very low baseball IQ, Bautista just sickens me, Donaldson is still good most of the time, and the starting pitching has been inconsistent at best. But they have a chance to get to 0.500 by the end of the season and be mediocre. LOL didn't you leave?
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Pillar/Goins with back to back bases loaded popups from a pitcher on the ropes that can't find the strike zone.. YEP
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 didn't you leave? Are you standing in front of your mirror again? It's funny listening to Blue Jay fans whining about their losing team. It's even funnier listening to Buck and Tabler trying to give fans a reason to watch.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Where was Bautista playing Aoki, on the warning track? Lol

Good things can still happen, like yesterday's game. And your post makes it sound like you aren't even a real Jays fan. Maybe time to GTFO.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 We are getting slapped. The Astros are so good.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 It's official, they are now called the Blow Jays!

Seriously if you're just going to keep coming here to troll around and continue your 180 degree turn on being a fan then just leave or we'll help you with that.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 The all star break started early for the jays I see lol
Jayday Verified Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Rays and yanks losing , O's up by 1 in the 4th, jays still in the fight for a WC spot, MLB may as well give the redsox the AL east championship today. 1st game with astros 7-4 jays , 2nd game 12-2 astros , then 7-2 jays ..today, 26-0 astros ?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I'm just glad the Yankees are crashing down.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Like the Yankees 4 game series We got outscored BADLY but still managed a series split
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Like the Yankees 4 game series We got outscored BADLY but still managed a series split If you mean the most recent Yankees series at New York, it was 3 games, we won two of them and outscored the Yankees 14-13.

I am out of here. I really can't stand the Blue Jays, their obnoxious fans and the American Baseball League in general. It is incredibly boring baseball compared to the National League. ...just keeps coming back for more.

Patrick Verified Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Wow. This team is soul sucking this year. Loup is not a major league pitcher and they keep trotting him out there. Could Gibbons job be at risk through the all star break? Might be a time to make a change

Effit Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I don't care if it is the Astros, still embarrassing.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Lol @ Carrera with yet another meaningless homer in the 9th inning.
