Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 The rare series win in Tampa. Lets take a nice break from the Trop.
wk680 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Osuna matata is done Thankfully, he once again bent but didn't break. Need to give this guy more than a 1 run lead to work with.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Barney and Pillar. The Best defenders on the team, and the best hitters.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 The pitching was outstanding from start to finish in this game.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Author Posted May 7, 2017 Good win, great bullpen performance.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 And lest we forget, the Rays 1 run was unearned! Gruber painted a nice picture with his relentless bashing of Travis.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Gruber painted a nice picture with his relentless bashing of Travis. STFU Jonn. Travis has been horrible as of late and deserves the bashing.
wk680 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 STFU Jonn. Travis has been horrible as of late and deserves the bashing. Which brings us to the question: who gets moved out to make room on the roster when Donaldson and Tulo return? Would Travis benefit from some playing time at AAA ?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 STFU Jonn. Travis has been horrible as of late and deserves the bashing. The anger you carry must be such a burden.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Which brings us to the question: who gets moved out to make room on the roster when Donaldson and Tulo return? Would Travis benefit from some playing time at AAA ? I think he just might. His bat has shown that it can be great, so you have to give him rope. It might not actually be a bad idea to send Travis to Buffalo and get him a chance to re-boot. He should have somewhat found his stroke by now and with him being a below average defender, he's hurting the team. Barney should start at 2B 60-70% of the time with Goins taking the remainder for a while until Travis finds his game.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Which brings us to the question: who gets moved out to make room on the roster when Donaldson and Tulo return? Would Travis benefit from some playing time at AAA ? That might be the move they make. He has options and they will never let go of Goins. It's not a decision they have to make for awhile. The article on the Blue Jays site says Donaldson doesn't have a timeline.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 The anger you carry must be such a burden. Lol, i'm not angry whatsoever. Travis has been given the benefit of the doubt because he didn't have much of a spring, but it's now May 7th and he's showing little to no signs of finding it. Your childish antics in trying to get me riled up is hilarious. You have no substance in what you say.

He's not elite or great by any stretch either but he's solid average easily.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 He had an error today, bro! You'r such a moron sometimes. People try and have coherent conversations here but and you and the rest of the minions you worship come up with stuff as if there isn't any type of history or validity to what's being said. You sound like i'm bashing Tulo for making an error. Travis has never shown any strengths to his defensive game except for turning a throw to first from the bag at second. Stop fantasizing that Travis is a solid defender, he is not. I really don't see why i get grief for stating this?

The article on the Blue Jays site says Donaldson doesn't have a timeline. Yeah those articles on Donaldson's current status give a pretty depressing picture of his status. Also, not seeing any talk of Tulo's situation. So that talk of them both returning to the lineup this coming week is looking like nonsense.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Thanks Coach. No problem kid. Prove me wrong otherwise. I'd be pissed off too if some dumb old man came on here and schooled me also.
