Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 *sigh* Well, hope they can win this one, 'cause I've gotta get to bed.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Completely jammed him on that. This season sucks.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 What a f***ing s*** bag of a season so far.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 He used to sit at 96-98....now he's 94.. His average velocity is down something like 1 mph on the season last year, but it was also lower last April, then picked up in the Summer. I don't think there's anything to read from there.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Bloops everywhere...not our season so far
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Osuna wanting to help the tanking efforts. He's a good man.
metafour Verified Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 What a f***ing s*** bag of a season so far. You guys would be a lot happier if you saw the gift of the #1 overall pick at the end of the tunnel
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 You guys would be a lot happier if you saw the gift of the #1 overall pick at the end of the tunnel It's not looking like a great draft. No clear-cut top player right now.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Let Osuna throw a second inning. Time to get his s*** figured out tonight
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 You guys would be a lot happier if you saw the gift of the #1 overall pick at the end of the tunnel So who is going #1? Is there an obvious choice?
metafour Verified Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 It's not looking like a great draft. No clear-cut top player right now. Wrong. There's no clear-cut top player because there are several guys in college who are performing extremely well already. 2018 looks like a strong draft.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Jays went down like a sack of potatoes
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Grilli gonna load up on baserunners too
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 This might be the most frustrated I've ever been watching baseball.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 It's not looking like a great draft. No clear-cut top player right now. It would be 2018 not 2017 remember.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 <-- It needs tweaking but I wanted to be the first to rock a Flying Coghlan avatar!
metafour Verified Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 So who is going #1? Is there an obvious choice? No obvious choice but its looking like a very strong college draft at the top. I have a sneaking suspicion that Auburn's RHP Casey Mize may be a darkhorse if he stays healthy. He's blown up this year dominating the SEC while sitting 95/96 and hitting 100. Auburn's HC (Butch Thompson) is a great pitching coach (he came from Miss State where they had Graveman and company).
Rustyraven Verified Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 This might be the most frustrated I've ever been watching baseball. You have to make up bets in your head, such as how much Salty will strike out, etc. No fun otherwise. At least I can golf and not worry about the game as I put. No radio this summer. Dont care.
Yippy Verified Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Osuna doesn't look like the dominant guy from last year

glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 You guys would be a lot happier if you saw the gift of the #1 overall pick at the end of the tunnel That's the way I'm looking at this season. Not only the draft pick next year but some mid season trades to get younger and reset. I'm not even mad at these losses (or blown saves in this case).
Rustyraven Verified Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Osuna doesn't look like the dominant guy from last year Does he seem thinner? Is this our high-performance dept?
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 <-- It needs tweaking but I wanted to be the first to rock a Flying Coghlan avatar! Oh great, now I'm never going to know who you are.
Rustyraven Verified Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 good job, Grilli. Now for Goins homer, ha. When is Salty up?
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 So Grilli will have to be done after this inning as we don't want to wear him out. Looks like Howell is warming up, and he's a fresh arm coming off the injury. If we get beyond that, probably have to look at the idea of using one of our next two scheduled starters, sending them down after the game and bringing up someone to start in their place (House?)
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Grilli had some extra juice tonight. Just never use him in back to back outings please.
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Osuna doesn't look like the dominant guy from last year pretty much applies to every player on the team, with exception of stroman.
