Well this season could not have started much worse. My goodness gracious.

 

Yankees and Red Sox fans are probably in the same boat.. Rays 4-2 and O's 4-0 while the Sox are struggling at .500 and the Yanks and Jays are both tied for 4th.. pretty messed up start to the season.

IMO either walk both or walk no one. Like you said you can't double up KK so what's the point of setting up a DP that you can't turn?

Yeah loading the bases on purpose made no damn sense. Just bring in the infield in with 1st/3rd, if they score, they score. But f***, loading the bases on purpose with a fringe AAAA guy on the mound? Come on.

As dumb as that sounds all you could hope for would be a K in that situation though, I don't like it but it kind of made sense. You're not going to double him up, and the sac fly is at 3rd. At least against Longoria you got the DP option.
