Nothing better than Weiters hearing the crack and then turning to walk back to his dugout, knowing it was gone. All with the best reliever in the game standing in the pen.

 

I have lower expectations this year. Meh off season and thinking pen is light and the rotation cant be as good as last year. Can Morales and Pearce offset the loss of Edwin and does Jose bounce back with a big year? Can Travis stay off the DL? Can Pillar take a f***ing BB?

 

Its always only what happens between the lines that matters. Go Jays!

The big thing with this team is health. We've got a relatively deep lineup and a deep rotation but no depth behind the starters at all. We are paper thin at damn near every position. If we stay healthy we will compete. If we get even moderate injury problems I think it tanks our chances moreso than other teams. Last year the health was impeccable, especially in the rotation.

Personally I think yes, assuming Pearce can stay healthy. I am still not convinced Saunders' bad knee is going to hold up much longer, but I guess that is partly why nobody was willing to give him more than 1 yr guaranteed.
