burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Jays hitters popping up a ton
wk680 Verified Member Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 So supporting a "scrappy underdog" is being more of a Jays supporter than wanting what's best for the team 樂 Noted No it's not about whether you are more or less of a fan, but the point is there are intangibles that don't show up on the stats sheet. This guy comes to play. He may not be such a great player but he works hard and that can also rub off on teammates. It's why the best team on paper doesn't always win - you need guys that can help team chemistry. I just heard them say on MLB Network that Rays players were upset that Forsythe was traded because they really like him as a teammate. In contrast you have a guy like BJ Upton who too often seems like he is just going through the motions and that doesn't play so well with the clubhouse. ETA: I DO NOT really advocate for Zeke as a regular. I much prefer if they had a good player in front of him as everyday LFer (not sold on Pagan but may be the best option currently) and Zeke as 4th OFer. Doesn't mean you can't cheer the guy on when he does play. Maybe you need to lighten up a bit....?

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 You guys sure you don't want to watch the Phillies/Reds game? Reds should have a good offense this year...bad pitching though

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 They are really hyping up Biagini as an elite reliever or something when he's really just a decent reliever.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Buck.. "Travis to his left" Holy f***
PGSC Verified Member Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 surprised Estrada is out at 89 pitches Gibby probably figures he can use the pen a bit with the off day tomorrow. No need to overextend Estrada early.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 surprised Estrada is out at 89 pitches It's early in the season it's probably a great call. Suprised he was able to get 6 after being hit around early.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 So SN doesn't even have velo? It's on the pitch trax which is not there... thanks to you scaring it away with your insults!

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 lol don't say it hit your foot after you bust it out of the box.. Yeah, although in fairness I think it DID actually nick the tip of his foot.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Lol Schoop is not having a good game at all. The error at 2B, couldn't get the ball out of his glove on realy during Zeke's double and now this.
