JP comes out of the retirement signs a nice contract with the Jays as Aces friend Deuce
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 - Kendrys Morales puts up a 2+ win season on the strength of a wRC+ above 115 and some surprisingly decent innings at 1B - Devon Travis contributes fewer than 2 wins - Aaron Sanchez suffers a very serious arm or shoulder injury - The bullpen is top-5 in baseball and a significant strength all season long
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Jays will finish in the basement in the AL East
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 1. Giancarlo Stanton will finally have a healthy season and will hit 50 home runs. 2. Bryce Harper will have a higher WAR than Mike Trout. 3. Jose Bautista will have a higher WAR than Edwin Encarnacion. 4. Jim and Boxcar will realise that there is a thin line between love and hate and stop constantly insulting each other in the politics thread.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Jays lose in the wildcard game to the Texas Rangers
glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Travis misses half the season with something. Sanchez and Happ regress, Stroman and Liriano improve. Pearce ends up with a higher WAR than Encarnacion (yes I went there!) Morales has a better season than expected (1.5-2.0 WAR). Carrera gets way too many AB's and has an April so awful that he gets demoted. Smoak, see Carrera.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 -Smoak with a wRC north of 100 -Donaldson will be beset with nagging hamstring injuries and will have a down year of 30 HR, 100 RBI -Bautista will go back to being a premium offensive player -Happ will s*** the bed -Estrada will be average -Sanchez will dominate -Stroman will be average -Gibby will get fired mid season
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Miguel Sano and Stanton help my dynasty team with 100 dingers, and Trea Turner top-5 MVP
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Smoak released before june One of Happ or Estrada goes down with long term injury and Biagini becomes our second best starter after Sanchez who will be healthy all year Jose hits 20 HR before the all star break and then has career ending injury
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Travis is an All Star Pompey becomes a full time starter We have 2 pitchers in CY contention Donaldson wins MVP We win it all
The Iceman Verified Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Dalton Pompey based on pro rating his spring stats will win the job in LF and hit 500 home runs this season. Smoak and Loup are demoted Ryan Goins starts more than 100 games for the Jays Devon Travis gets injured...I mean stays healthy
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 - Tulo has a "return to form" season, posting 5 WAR with a 135 wRC+ - Stroman finishes in the top 5 for CY young votes
Ray Verified Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Russell Martin posts a 3.5 win season Tulowitzki hits 30 homers for only the third time in his career Melvin Upton Jr. has a 20-20 season Donaldson has a down year but still posts over 5 WAR. There will be no significant injury to the rotation again (knocks on wood) Steve Pearce plays over 120 games posting > 2.5 wins

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) Tulo hit's for 120 wRC+ Andrew Benintendi puts up a 4+ fWAR season. Blake Rutherford becomes a consensus top 15 prospect Chris Sale + David Price get TJS. Red Sox still win 87 games and make the WC Bo Bitches become a consensus top 75 prospect. Houston Astros beats the Cubs in the world series. Jays make the playoffs for the 3rd straight year. Gary Sanchez posts a sub 110 wRC+ and hit's less than 25 HR's Edited March 2, 2017 by jays4life19
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Smoak released before june One of Happ or Estrada goes down with long term injury and Biagini becomes our second best starter after Sanchez who will be healthy all year Jose hits 20 HR before the all star break and then has career ending injury Don't you dare tell anyone here that Biagini can put up better numbers than Stroman. Shame..
SAAviour Verified Member Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Bautista is a beast and we all hope he agrees to stay for the two option years. Rowdy and Pompey put in solid 2-3 win seasons and become regulars by May/June. Stroman wins the CY young. Jays lose in ALCS. 2b becomes our biggest problem and we land Dozier at the deadline.
