I got tix for the home opener (516, row 7), and Canada Day (535, row 13) so far. I only had 2 games to choose from logistically and I got tickets for the game so I'm happy. Not in Canada often but I try to get to a game every time. Jealous of you getting to go on two of biggest days of the year. hope you get good games to watch
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 above and beyond the ticket price, how much is the service charge (or other fees) for a single game ticket?
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 above and beyond the ticket price, how much is the service charge (or other fees) for a single game ticket? paid service of 21 per ticket and it's all in USD
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 paid service of 21 per ticket and it's all in USD Are you serious? So if I wanted the cheapest single ticket in the 500 Lower Level for (say) the Opener, it comes to $30.50 + $21? (that's ridiculous) And why USD? Are you using Ticketmaster Canada?
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 I didn't buy any tickets this season and drop over $1000 bones like in years past. Don't want to be stuck trying to sell them if I can't go or if I'm out of town. Could have got a pair for the Canada Day game, though they were in 113D and those seats are awful, so took a pass. I'll just buy tickets the day of to games I want to go to, either off StubHub or through the Blue Jays box office when last minute tickets get released. Plus I'll save most of my money for Postseason tickets if they make it again.

Nah, its a percentage. If its a 30$ ticket the service fee is probably like 6$

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Yeah if anyone is interested in a few games I have season tickets. Save some $ on the fees plus get good seats that aren't even available to the public.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 I got tickets to the April 29th game vs. TB. 200 level in LF, row 6 or something. I also got a pair for Canada day in section 509 and another pair in 237 (non-drinking). It was nice that for Saturday games, you can choose Jr. Jays tickets in the 200 OF or 500 level for half price. I think my 500 level Canada day tickets cost $45 total. The seats kinda of suck, but I like taking my son down to the Canada Day game for his birthday. I have to admit - most the weekend games I tried to get tickets for all had utter s*** for seats left. I was pretty disappointed.

Always wondered if you buy a half price ticket for a kid, will they actually check ID? Couldn't you just have 2 adults walk in lol.

ChrisS Verified Member Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 I have a pair of seasons in 521 row 7, selling all games for ~face (except Canada day and Home Opener) PM me.

Are you using Ticketmaster Canada? ticketmaster was not working. they only had obstruction seats. I needed 3 tickets and was only looking at one game. I wanted first 10 rows behind dugout or first row field level 113. ended up with the latter and I'm good with that.

Just can't commit to any games right now haha.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 I told you this was the way to go, you're welcome. Yeah happened to me last year for an Angels game on a weeknight in August. A bunch of outfield seats behind the bullpen got released around 4:30ish online and scooped up two seats in the second row. It's a good hidden secret so thanks haha!
SAAviour Verified Member Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Have not been to the dome in at least 12 years, yesterday I got tickets for August in the 200 level...pretty excited, as is my kids! Also get to go in April this year, no tickets yet. Not bad for a west coaster.
SweetSmellingChacin Verified Member Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Picked up the first game played against CLE (Edwin's first game back) and TEX (fight fight fight). Otherwise, I will pick up games when I want to go.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 I have to work Home Opener so if anyone needs home opener I have 2 tickets they're good seats in section 230 I think or something let me know.

BlueJaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 This is not for a game in Toronto, instead I got 2 tickets for the Blue Jays and Rays in Tropicana Field on August 24th. It just so happens to be that I will be on vacation that time in Orlando an the Jays are playing the Rays in St. Petersburg in a 3 game series starting on the 22nd. So my Dad and I are going to drive from Orlando to St. Petersburg which is about an hour and a half drive to see the game. Last Sunday through the Rays website I was able to get 2nd row behind the Blue Jays dugout which cost $90 each and we even purchased our parking spot in one of the various lots by Tropicana Field for $20.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 Anyone buying Blue Jays/Cubs tickets this week? They have a MasterCard Presale on the Cubs site starting tomorrow, though have to pay an extra 15% on tickets, otherwise tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday.

I bought some Group Tickets for the Saturday game but they are quite expensive. The Bleacher seats worked out to like $135 CDN each.

Last time when I went to Wrigley in 2009, Bleacher seats were like $40-50 USD for a weeknight.

I mean that mastercard presale with the extra 15% is such a scam but when you have that much demand you can pull it off.
