TBJ12 Verified Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Freudian slip? I'm drunk. No excuses here bro!
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 AMURIKA about to bust this game open.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I hope Arenado did that on his own because if Leyland called for that bunt he's a f***ing moron
baubau Verified Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 The Jays need to give some bats back to Arenado. Has not had a good tourny.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 arenado having himself an awful wbc
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 arenado bunting what? lol He's struck out like 6 times in a row now. Probably just wanted to be productive and move the runners over.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 He's struck out like 6 times in a row now. Probably just wanted to be productive and move the runners over. why is he hitting clean-up then?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 why is he hitting clean-up then? Broadcasters were saying earlier, its a fine balance between trying to manage the team to win and trying not to screw with players' heads too much before the start of the season. Also, Arenado is the type of player that could have a multi-homerun game any time. Meh. All im saying is it was most definitely Arenado's decision to bunt.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 How many pitches does Stroman get?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 WTF at that Klay Thompson comparison lol
bowld Verified Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 How many pitches does Stroman get? Believe the max allowed is 80, unless that changes for the final
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 How many pitches does Stroman get? 95 I think, so he has a good shot at the shutout if he continues this pace.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I know "clutch" is probably not a real thing, but Stroman seemingly really elevates his game at the biggest moments.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Excellent, Berrios is in. This will be a good time to evaluate him for fantasy porpoises. Edit: f*** ME!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Im glad Stroman got to redeem himself. Hopefully US can win this and Stroman will immortalized in WBC history.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Great job by Stroman... don't be fools.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 He's had zero stress innings. He could easily use the full 95 pitch count. Very happy for Stro.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Great job by Stroman... don't be fools. Do you think Stroman asks to pitch longer than his pitch count if "it" is still going? And I wonder if "old school" Leyland would grant it?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Do you think Stroman asks to pitch longer than his pitch count if "it" is still going? And I wonder if "old school" Leyland would grant it? They're tournament rules.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 They're tournament rules. Ah. So, he's done at 95 max no matter what?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Do you think Stroman asks to pitch longer than his pitch count if "it" is still going? And I wonder if "old school" Leyland would grant it? No, there's a pitch count.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Ah. So, he's done at 95 max no matter what? Once he hits 95, he can only finish the at bat and thats it.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 He's had zero stress innings. He could easily use the full 95 pitch count. Very happy for Stro. And the Jays say go f*** your self.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Ah. So, he's done at 95 max no matter what? Plus MLB teams have instructs to what you can do.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 And the Jays say go f*** your self. Why? I would understand if he was labouring. But he's cruising. They can back him off a bit if necessary in his final spring tuneup.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Ugh, so many damn pitching changes. Stroman might have lost his groove now.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I was hoping for a game like last night, this is just what you'd expect, really. Stroman looking like a goddamn boss out there helps! Yeah this is probably one of the worst games i've watched in this tournament, entertainment-wise
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Why? I would understand if he was labouring. But he's cruising. They can back him off a bit if necessary in his final spring tuneup. There's a map to every ball player in this tournament, especially pitchers.
