Governator Community Moderator Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 A replica world series ring though? I doubt it At least they could give the bobblehead to their husband or son - who actually like baseball/sports. is that what it is? lol

I doubt it At least they could give the bobblehead to their husband or son - who actually like baseball/sports. Part of the issue was that the tweet said "He likes baseball, she likes jewelry. It's a win-win." Add that she doesn't like baseball implication on top of a Ladies Night which already gets people upset, and the backlash is huge. #triggered

Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 My new goal in life is to become a multi-billionaire, buy a baseball team and do s*** that would make Marge Schott blush.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Maybe I missed this discussion, but can anyone explain why the Cards called up Magneuris Sierra?

BTS Community Moderator Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 The Padres need to stop running Weaver out there. It's embarrassing.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 The Padres need to stop running Weaver out there. It's embarrassing. Remember when we thought watching Dickey pitch was the worst experience? I can't imagine what those those poor Padres fans must be going through, I get nauseous at the thought of having to endure Jered Weaver every five days.

King Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 The Padres need to stop running Weaver out there. It's embarrassing. I don't get why he continues to pitch with his 80 MPH fastball. He's made 100 mil. in career earnings(without endorsements or agency fees). He'll be remembered as the Jered Weaver who was the recipient of all jokes from 2015-2017 rather than the Ace Weaver that put up back to back 5+ win seasons in 2010 and 2011.

Maybe he's trying to get his career WAR even with his brother Jeff.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 So apparently Harvey was suspended for missing his curfew, then golfing the next morning, (probably falling asleep that afternoon), and missing the evening game. Yeah, that'll do it.
