G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Kershaw gives up back to back home runs for the first time in his career... Over 1700 innings pitched before it happened Maddux pitched 2800 before he ever did Dayum
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Wade Miley no-hitting thru 4--but not the good way, as he's walked 6...
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 My God... I thought V-Mart tagged a 3 run jack there. Godammit!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Finally, the O's are getting a reality check.. O'Day imploding, Baltimore down 7-3.. looks like they'll be no undefeated teams after today.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Joey Gallo did successful baseball things today.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Matt Strahm walks in the winning run.. Astros win, and are 4-3.. Lots of abnormalities in the standings right now--non-contending teams like the D-Backs, Twins, Angels, and Rays lead their divisions, while the real contenders are struggling, including the Jays..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 And if you think the Jays have bullpen issues--try being a Nats fan! Koda Glover and Blake Treinen have been awful.. actually, the entire Nats pen is a tire fire right now outside of Joe Blanton. It's no surprise the Nats are just a .500 team right now.. should've spent on a closer. Worse bullpens than Toronto: Kansas City Washington Detroit San Francisco St. Louis
Ray Verified Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Guys, it could be worse. We could be the Mariners.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Guys, it could be worse. We could be the Mariners. Hoo, boy.. blowing a winnable game, being up 9-3 in the 9th, and serving up 7 runs to lose the game, with Casey Fien and Edwin Diaz combining to lose the game..
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Syndergaard 6 up 6 down with 5 gone by the K so far. Ho hum.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Syndergaard 6 up 6 down with 5 gone by the K so far. Ho hum. He's such a f***ing stud. The Marlins look completely lost.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Can we also talk about the new ESPN crew? Like their material is good. But the lack of chemistry is so cringey.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 That hair as he's tilting his head back to put his hat on... hngh

Worse bullpens than Toronto: Kansas City Washington Detroit San Francisco St. Louis I don't understand why Sergio Romo only got a one-year $3 million dollar contract, when there are such s***** bullpens out there. And he even went to a team that had an established closer.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Former Jay Otis Nixon has been reported missing, after going to play a round of golf on Saturday and disappearing. "Otis Nixon is SAFE". He probably went missing just because he wanted to hear those words again. The report didn't say where he was, just that he was safe.
