Players hate those guys but at the STH signings and at games its mostly kids and older guys with collections. The worst you could ever do is try to get an autograph when they are eating dinner or with their family/away from the ballpark.

 

I like to collect signed baseballs but you basically have to sell a few to afford a collection. Like I sold one of my JD signed balls for $150 in order to get a Votto ball I wouldn't be able to get. And at $25/ball its a pretty expensive hobby.
