King Old-Timey Member Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 I want to compile the list of the Blue Jays message board top 15 prospects for 2017. Send me a PM of your top 15 and I will put the results into a google doc, released on the BJMB from the top 15-10 then 9/8/7/6 etc. This year anyone can feel free to send me a PM of their rankings (where as last year it was restricted to certain people.) But I won't include rankings that are an obvious troll attempt. I'll take PMs from today until Friday, November 18th. Then I will start posting the results. Players eligible will be players with MLB Rookie Status still intact. Determining rookie status: A player shall be considered a rookie unless, during a previous season or seasons, he has (a) exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues; or ( accumulated more than 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club or clubs during the period of 25-player limit (excluding time in the military service and time on the disabled list). Pompey, Biagini, Osuna etc would be not eligible (but a top 25 under 25 would be interesting), Danny Barnes or Andy Burns would be eligible. This will be fun!

King Old-Timey Member Posted November 11, 2016 Author Posted November 11, 2016 I have received two entries for the BJMB Top 15 Prospects List 2017!
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Does this mean the BJMB "midseason top 30" prospects on the website is finally going to be updated?

ILikeSoccerandBaseball09 Verified Member Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Where is LGJ going to be in our prospect pool? Top 5?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Where is LGJ going to be in our prospect pool? Top 5? He's probably #3 or #4 right now. I assume that's where MLB.com will put him. Interesting to see if they slide him infront of or behind Alford.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Where is LGJ going to be in our prospect pool? Top 5? IMO has to be top 5, he surely will make it to the big leagues before the majority of our other prospects.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 I have LGL as the 106th best prospect right now.
King Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2016 Author Posted November 12, 2016 5 entries have been received!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 I have LGL as the 106th best prospect right now. You mean LGJ, right?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 You mean LGJ, right? No, I have him like 6th.
spats Verified Member Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 5 entries have been received! I didn't think about LGJ and I'm too lazy to correct my list but I would say he would still fall between 10 and 15.

Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 I have LGL as the 106th best prospect right now. He's repeated the same level in Cuba too many times to crack our top 105.
Mikeleelop Verified Member Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 Lgj is top five per John manual of bba. Two or three spots behind Alford he said n Twitter
