I'm pretty sure the last person King vouched for was Moogy. That went about as well as expected.

This is wrong.. North and Boxy vouched for Moogy.

 

I'll vouch for Olerud and Moogy. They're dedicated and knowledgeable. Don't think anyone will have a problem with them.

I'm just saying that there are guys I'd take Moogy over if given the choice. Not advocating because his s***-disturbery nature would likely cause friction just that allowing him in is not the most ridiculous thing in my view. I'd be completely neutral.

Meh, I'd hope no one we allow into this league would do that in the first place.

I agree Moogy has yet to display any redeeming qualities. Even Randy made a half hearted effort to get along.

Lol stop comparing me to Moogy. He's a legitimate troll and is on the board almost all day with the sole purpose to piss people off. I pop in once or twice a day to keep updated with the fantasy league. Some people just don't understand my personality.

Yeah, I dunno. I used to feel pretty strongly about your schtick but you respond quickly to inquiries, are civil and pretty clear about what you want. I certainly have negotiated with many more difficult people. Your personality just doesn't jive with people I guess and guys are pretty clique-y that way.

I am getting worse and worse at negotiating the English language. Ugh.

Meh, only a couple left I believe that still dislike me(SG, BTS, Spank, etc). If you came around to some extent I'm sure they will eventually(maybe not spank)

And yeah, as much as people would need to wrap their minds around it, I wouldn't mind Randy in with a short leash.

I think Randy decided to cut out the BS schtick after everyone started to call him out on it, he's actually become much better, easy to deal with also.

Really Randy has a kind of tongue in cheek humor, a lot of projected arrogance. But having actually negotiated with him, he was quick to respond, and had very good trade dialogue. I would be on board with giving Randy a shot and that's as someone who had him on the IL for an extended period of time.

I'd vouch for Randy. Seems like he's moved away from playing his character recently and is now actually interested in civility. Knowledgeable and active enough too.

Betrayed at every turn, you goddamn scoundrels.

I love the idea of an offline draft. There'd be so much fun stuff to analyze. We could let people tweet their picks with a hashtag too.

Maybe we could even inform the players that they've been chosen.

If anyone is looking to get fantasy baseball dynasty league experience, there are some openings in the FC. Just something to consider to see if you like the dynasty format. Could be a recruiting ground for the other main leagues - BORED, LOD, DDL etc. in the future, since then some posters would be able to build up their fantasy baseball profile/resume before jumping into a bigger league.

I really like the detail for sure. Obviously not much of a poster here, really just like the offseason discussion. I'm a big fantasy guy, but the baseball season can be a little long to stay on top of all year haha. Just hard to get into a league with people that dedicated and at that depth so definitely find it interesting. If you guys had any trouble getting a regular in I'd definitely consider it but doubt you guys will have any issues.

7-8 years ago I would have been all over this, but with 3 kids, I just can't commit the time anymore (and I hate half ass'ing that type of thing). I'm also holding a grudge for being left off the "preferred list". Screw you, I'm going home.
