BTS is one of the main reasons the board has shown weak growth relative to its potential over the last few years. Many core posters will defend him and say that his insight is an important component, but I think many prospective posters (including some that I know personally) are driven away in part because of the annoying, regurgitated crap that gets posted- not just by BTS but by others as well.

 

 

The results are obvious- the Jays have had huge success but board activity is lower than it should be. The inability of some posters to interpret some advanced stats and dismiss original ideas has made the board difficult to digest. This is my observation and I am just being as honest as I can because I do like the potential this place has going forward.

You've said this enough times and I would like a more exact example. Please provide would love a link to an exact example. And I don't want this as an example of how the hive treats you. I want examples of how they treat people on this board.

Heck, the only thing that keeps activity at the current level is likely the fantasy teams. If we had a large site with the message boards as just one component (like integrating the blog, keeping a steady stream of articles on the blog, maybe a DFS site, etc), we'd grow.
