Plat Verified Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Man will this guy ever be healthy?
5minutesforframing Verified Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Got ourselves a bit of a bandaid here. Unfortunate because he's incredibly talented.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 He should have never been in the game that GIDP might have been keyb
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 It's unfortunate we have been without him 2 straight years when it matters most.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Atkins just said that the injury is a new one and not related to the bone bruise #fragile
Floortom Verified Member Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 It's a shame he's so incredibly injury-prone. Talented guy but his body us too fragile
Joshtowers Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 considering hes batting 0.083 in the postseason, he isn't much of a loss. darwin barney can easily fill his role. goins can sit on the bench

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 How long do you stick with Travis before you give up on him ever being able to stay healthy? This is 2 seasons now.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Trade him for Hyun so Kim from Orioles. Orioles hangout says buck hates him
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Trade him for Hyun so Kim from Orioles. Orioles hangout says buck hates him 4 years of Travis for 1 year of Kim. Seems legit.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Trade him for Hyun so Kim from Orioles. Orioles hangout says buck hates him Maybe Buck hired Ken Pagan to throw that beer at him.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 4 years of Travis could be only 2.5 of healthy Travis. Better yet maybe the Tigers will give back Gose for him

Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Mate of mine recently had a similar op - recovery time is 6-8 weeks.

Better yet maybe the Tigers will give back Gose for him 2.5 years of Travis is still better than 1 year of Kim. Hell, even 1 year of Travis is better than 1 year of Kim. Corner outfielders are very easy to find. A solid second baseman is not. Give your head a shake.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I know I was just being bit sarcastic, but Travis getting hurt is frustrating. I know he's an asset being our only 300 hitter and how ever many more years making a dirt salary

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 That's an incredibly long recovery for a knee scope. It's not implied that he needs all that time. Spring training just happens to be the next thing after the World Series.
