Melvin Upton Jr. could be a big weapon off of the bench against Andrew Miller. He's 5-12 with 3 jacks for his career. Bautista, Encarnacion, Martin, and Pillar have also had a lot of success vs. Miller.

He's still an elite pitcher that may very well shut us down, but the Jays have certainly been his kryptonite.

And don't forget this:

Those numbers might be off the s***** starter Andrew Miller and not the elite reliever he has become.

Possibly, but we got to him on numerous occasions with the Yankees so we should have some confidence if nothing else.

Please start the next GDT please!

I certainly don't mind, but I don't want to break FrozenRope's rhythm :P I'll take over once he loses

I'm not terrified of Andrew Miller like others seem to be. Francona won't be able to use his bullpen with reckless abandon in a seven game series. It all depends how the starters perform for them though. Kluber, Bauer, and Tomlin have all been good against us.

Pretty sure I will be running the entire Indian series unless we are down to do or die and it is not game 7. If we get in that boat, its yours. Not trying to be a douche, just a little superstitious, like most.

What do you mean once he losses? He's not going to lose *******.

Their pen didn't impress me that much today, got lucky on quite a few hard hit outs. I'm a bit worried that we are going to end up with protests outside the games though which will be a big distraction.

What protests, thinking The Donald may show? God I hope not.

the Jays/Indians Canada day game is one I won't forget for a long time. What a match!

That was probably the worst game of the year.

Going down to Cleveland! Got my hotel booked, just need tickets!

Never knew it was so close to TO. With Cleveland's poor regular season attendance, I hope it's half full of Jays fans.

Cleveland has speed on the basepaths Jays need to up their speed game by getting pompey in there and using Carrera . Not even sure if pompey is on the roster for this next series

Tickets are pretty expensive on StubHub. Public sale for the ALCS goes on sale tomorrow, so hoping I can grab a pair for Game 1 & 2. Might even try for Game 6 & 7 since those games will be next Friday/Saturday and would definitely be able to go.

My history with the Indians is clear. I can do something which will give the Jays a decided edge...bet on the Indians. I've had money on the Indians every year since 2013 (only one I cashed was the 2013 over bet). Including last year where I re-upped several times as they dropped in odds. This isn't big money in any way but said this year I wouldn't bet on them no matter what.

Not for my ass, I got to my seat an hour before first pitch too fml

You take that back! very entertaining. When Goins pitched people were cheering like it was the 1st. Loved how 90% of the dome was still full by the end

But f*** Carpaaraza

Well now we know who we face. I'm just happy that we're not the only ones with multiple days of rest. We can stack our rotation exactly how we want it, I could still see Stroman going first. Maybe Stroman, Estrada, Sanchez, Happ (finally our depth can shine)

Latest report from us: Atkins says that Liriano and Travis feel better. That's all, no medical information released. Lets hope we can get them both ready for Cleveland.

Also I'll keep this thread updated with results, matchups, etc I miss making GDTs :P

For now:

We're going to have to play some fine fundamental baseball to come out on top looking at those numbers and the 3-4 record in h2h. I'd go with Goins this series.

I remember you recommending them late season last year
