You know that's not true. The freakin' Twins are involved in 2 of the highest rated World Series of all time (I think they are 2nd and 3rd). Jays followed Twins and Braves 1991 2nd best ratings of all time and it dropped by 10M viewers. Cleveland the Braves was split between 2 networks and coming off a strike year (and low ratings all year) and matched the Jays and Braves in 92. A battle of futility between the Cubs and Indians would jump back into the 20M households.

 

Cubs vs anyone will draw ratings.

Did anyone else cringe their way through the interview he had with Rangers 3B coach Tony Beasley regarding the latter's ongoing battle with rectal cancer? Some very tastelessly worded questions.
