Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 We are doing a great job of extending innings so far this playoffs. As soon as it looks like a clean inning we get a 2 out hit or walk. Its like the polar opposite from this season.

West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I don't even let them finish the sentence if they offer me $50K. I'd give up sitting in the dugout for $50K But wouldn't you be bummed that you never saw the Jays win it, only positive is if you got the money and they lost.

West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 1 more inning for Happ? Short leash, if 2 runners come on please take him out.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Will be really interesting to see what Gibby does here. Happ wil start the inning and Biagini will be there to pick him up. Hopefully he has another clean one. No way you give Texas a fourth look.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 WTF is Jamie Campbell talking about I didn't hear what it said this time, but before the game he said something like "Perhaps J.A. stands for 'just another dominating performance by a starting pitcher.'"
JonMc Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Not every game can be like yesterday. Happ hasn't had his best stuff but he's also hung in there and got the outs when it mattered. Pitched well.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 No kidding. Get yourself season tickets for the next 10 years with the proceeds. My tickets are $400 face value for World Series, what's the lowest you would take if someone offered to buy them from you?
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 But wouldn't you be bummed that you never saw the Jays win it, only positive is if you got the money and they lost. Surely you'd just use $10k of that money to buy someone else's ticket?
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I didn't hear what it said this time, but before the game he said something like "Perhaps J.A. stands for 'just another dominating performance by a starting pitcher.'" LOL.. no wonder he's no longer doing play-by-play.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 83 pitches. Happ will stay in until he reaches 100.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Surely you'd just use $10k of that money to buy someone else's ticket? I guess you could go to the 500's and have s***** seats.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Here we go, Gibby!!
GoJays1562 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Well that isn't a good start.

I don't enjoy being at the games in the playoffs (I've been to 6 now). I don't like other Jays fans generally (and people can call me old and cantankerous but it's been this way since I was 19. I love baseball. Not the teams playing it. I've spent more money to watch Trout and Harper in the minors than I ever would on a Jays game.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Happ bent but didn't break. Good job.
BigBulgeBlueBird Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Good job Happ, fought through a lot of innings with guys on base.
Mkdaman1818 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Thank god, let's go biagini
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Right call. Disappointing Whoha got on.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Didn't Campbell say Pilar hit that HR at his feet? ROFL 4.2 feet.
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Maybe there's hope that martin will get a hit sometime .
CBlake Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 At only 84 pitches would have liked to see him finish the inning.
