Effit Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Cecil looks like he's lost weight.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Hold onto your butts, Grilli coming in.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I swear I can remember Cecil striking out Davis on 3-2 curveballs so many times over the years.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Bring in Osuna now. Not grilli No man Osuna's being overworked. Grilli too but at least this way we save him a batter and hand it off to Osuna. I wish we can score like 4 runs so we can use Feldman
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I wish man I have to work. I was hoping you would go so he could sign your tits and you snapchat the picture. That deserves a LOL.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 If you had even a little feel of the reality of the situation.. That ball was blooped to shallow left centre, literally 70-80 feet from second base. Jose would have to hover pretty close to second to avoid being doubled up in case the ball was caught. If the ball wasn't caught, combined with Jose's speed (or lack thereof), the probable outcome would have been Jose being forced out at third. Jose sized up the situation and probably came to realize what i just explained and decided that the ball had a better than 50% of dropping, thus taking off and turn the dropped ball into a run. If the ball was blooped down the right field line or in right center, Jose would have the luxury of bouncing further towards third base and probably would have waited out the result before making a decision. It wasn't as simple as "you wait till it drops, baseball 101" ********. With no outs you watch it drop. Every time.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Bring in Osuna now. Not grilli Agreed, but Gibby doesn't think in this capacity.
Fastball21 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Good outing by Cecil, come on Grili, you can do it.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 That ball was annihilated.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 You have to use lefties against Trumbo.
el duque Verified Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Fast ball right in the middle, Grilli has to stop giving HR
BigBulgeBlueBird Verified Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 The bullpen is a huge concern moving forward.
intrigid Verified Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Mike Wilner you son of a bitch...
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Biagini for 8th inning duties please
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Lol, nice response. You're inability to rationally discuss the play in question is not surprising. Keep swinging your pom poms though, the board needs you. There was nothing to discuss? You're wrong.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Is Tabler smarter than Gibbons??? You have to use lefties against Trumbo. You also have to not leave balls over the plate.
Fastball21 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Grilli suck No he doesn't
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 The bullpen is a huge concern moving forward. Grilli s***ing the bed now is the main problem.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 With no outs you watch it drop. Every time. I agree, but the ball was hit really close to second base so he took a shot.
el duque Verified Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Now is batting practice for the Orioles
GoJays1562 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 High fastball is becoming predictable for Grilli.
43211234 Verified Member Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 That pitch by Grilli wasn't terrible. Right at the top of the strike zone.
