West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Do you work at the speed of light? I work in TV, I will break it down for you. Rogers Centre ---> Sportsnet via fiber -------> Yorkmills Rogers ------------> Output from Yorkmills system ------------------------- Your TV at home. It delays more than you would think.

I thought you were some sort of accountant? Regardless yeah coaxial and even fiber signal takes time to come. You can tell at the Dome when lookin at the TV while you're walking to your section where the consessions are. It's like a pitch maybe 2 behind. MLB.tv outpaces it sometimes because you receive the direct signal instead of Rogers sending it over copper wires. Radio is pretty much simultaneous though
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 I love Tulo so much wRC+ by month heading in to tonight Apr: 66 May: 89 Jun: 146 Jul: 133 Aug: 110 Sep: 136

Radio is pretty much simultaneous though Yeah Radio is boss still, I love bringing my portable radio to the games, it is pretty much bang on. That sportsnet broadcast you see walking around the dome is directly from the trucks parked in the loading docks so that is the least amount of delay you will see basically. I work in the streaming department, used to do pressers at the games and jumbotron production but moved departments. Nicest guy ever was Jeter and the biggest dick was Chipper during run ins.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Other teams make scoring runs look easy, while the Jays make it seem like brain surgery.

Wow those were from the vans? So the signal is maybe even 4-5 pitches behind! Pressers as in the technical guy or you asked questions?
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Author Posted September 14, 2016 Maybe we can have a lopsided bottom of the 7th?
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Maybe we can have a lopsided bottom of the 7th? If we suddenly move the game to Narnia.
